SANCTUARY - The Year the Sun Died

Die letzte Sanctuary war der Hammer, habe kein Problem damit das die ein neues Studio Album machen.

Wesentlich problematischer wäre es wenn die Nevermore mit dem Michael weiterführen würden.

Warrels Gesang war auf den Nevermore Scheiben schon immer emotionaler als auf den Sanctuary Sachen, von daher geht es in Ordnung das die Sanctuary ohne ihn weiterführen.

Obwohl am allerliebsten wäre es mir wenn sich die gesamte Witherfall Band sich auf Witherfall voll konzentrieren würde anstatt in tausend Bands zu spielen

Ich habe dieses "Band XY muß sich aber umbenennen weil ich das will" eh noch nie verstanden. Das Recht der Namenswahl liegt bei der Band und Punkt. (Zumindest wenn sie das rechtlich hinbekommt.)
Das Recht desjenigen am anderen Ende ist es, den Output zu hören. Oder halt nicht.

Der Loomis ist bei "Arch Enemy" einfach nur verschwendet. Nicht, dass Amott potenziell nichts könnte, nur zeigt er das, finde ich, seit Jahren nicht mehr und ist zweitens Loomis dort völlig unterfordert. Schade. :hmmja:
 
Mein Lieblings-Nevermore/Sanctuary-Worshipper covet einen meiner Lieblingssongs von Warrel Dane. Konnte nur geil werden.
 
Von Sanctuary habe ich schon länger keine News gelesen.

Aber ich meine WitherFall wären derzeit an einem neuen Album am arbeiten. Kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass der Joseph dann zeitgleich noch Sanctuary macht.

Bock habe ich auf eine neue Sanctuary, auch wenn ich die letzte nicht sonderlich gelungen fand.
Da hatte ich mal wieder das Problem mit der Erwartungshaltung, die schlicht zu hoch war.
 
Ich finde die "The year the sun died" immer noch stark.
Aber ich bin in gewisser Weise auch ein Warrel Dane Fanboy :).

Die Tour mit "Refuge denied" in einem Rutsch letztes Jahr fand ich auch ganz großartig.
Als neuen Sänger finde ich Joseph Michaels eine extrem gute Wahl und freue mich auf eine neue SANCTUARY, wann immer sie auch raus kommen mag.
Und natürlich auf ein neues WITHERFALL Album.
Die Letzte kratzte an der Höchstnote.

Wegen der Live-CD hätte ich das schon ganz gern.
Tendenziell warte ich aber, bis es nach Weihnachten den CM üblichen Preisnachlass von ca 10€ gibt
