I feel for you, you little horror
Safe at your mother's breast
No lucky break for you around the corner
'Cause your father is a bully
And he thinks that you're a pest
And your sister she's no better than a whore.

Life seems so rosy in the cradle,
But I'll be a friend I'll tell you what's in store
There's nothing at the end of the rainbow.
There's nothing to grow up for anymore

Tycoons and barrow boys will rob you
And throw you on the side
And all because they love themselves sincerely
And the man holds a bread knife
Up to you throat is four feet wide
And he's anxious just to show you what it's for.

Your mother works so hard to make you happy
But take a look outside the nursery door
There's nothing at the end of the rainbow.
There's nothing to grow up for anymore

And all the sad and empty faces
That pass you on the street
All running in their sleep, all in a dream
Every loving handshake
Is just another man to beat
How your heart aches just to cut him to the core

Life seems so rosy in the cradle,
But I'll be a friend I'll tell you what's in store
There's nothing at the end of the rainbow.
There's nothing to grow up for anymore

For how long do we tolerate these fools
Drunk with power

Drunk with power, obsessed with death
Death and destruction, drunk with power

A giant game of chess they play
With you and I as the disposable pieces

Tofu Spaghetti (MDC 1982)

World hunger is so senseless and sad
What can one person do?
I think maybe if we can put together a recipe
For sharing the resources more sensibly

but first you need a pot
then a pan
fill with water
some olive oil
chop the garlic
some oregano
throw in the green peppers
and those onions too!

Now it’s all in the pot cooking
it’s getting time to add the tofu
You know, tofu from soy beans
More protein and so much more efficient than meat

whoo the water’s boiling
time to add the spaghetti
and for the flying garlic
add into the sauce

put at low heat
such a treat
put in the tofu
now you’re looking good

You too can cook this gastronomic treat
it’s not really such a big feat
think if everyone got to eat
we’d all feel really sweet

the water’s boiling
test the noodles
give the sauce
a good stir
get the plates
and the napkins
call everybody
‘cause it’s time to eat

Gonna have the whole world over
Breakin’ bread at one table
So come on over
We’re almost ready
Serving up that Tofu Spaghetti

Al’s got the wine
Eric’s tossed the salad
Franco’s got the garlic bread

got the glasses
got the time
So nice to be here
feel so fine

Doesn’t this feel so good
Everybody feeling good just like it should
Smiling and having a good party
With all my best friends

Jesus dies inside my heart
Judas lingers on
All my values broken down
In a bitter frown

A chain of deeds committed
Weigh heavy round my chest
It can not be broken
Only outstretched

Jesus dies inside my heart
While Judas lingers on
My heart has broken down
Pumping end time rhymes

I leave these words to discourage
See, I block my own path with stones
Drunk with wormwood I stumble
In lies entangled and alone

Motörhead - Just 'Cos You Got The Power und zwar dies...

You can take my fingers babe,
You can take my eyes,
You can take my past and future,
It won't make you wise,
You can have me thrown in jail,
You can steal my booze,
You can even read my mail,
Step on my blue suede shoes,

Welche Diebe mich bestehlen, welche Mörder mir befehlen

Candlemass - Solitude

I'm sitting here alone in darkness, waiting to be free,
Lonely and forlorn I am crying
I long for my time to come, death means just life
Please let me die in solitude

Hate is my only friend, pain is my father
Torment is delight to me
Death is my sanctuary, I seek it with pleasure
Please let me die in solitude

Receive my sacrifice, my lifeblood is exhausted!
No one gave love and understanding
Hear these words, vilifiers and pretenders
Please let me die in solitude

Earth to earth
Ashes to ashes
And dust to...
Earth to earth
Ashes to ashes
And dust to dust

Sitting here alone in darkness, waiting to be free,
Lonely and forlorn I am crying
I long for my time to come, death means just life
Please let me die in solitude

Earth to earth
Ashes to ashes
And dust to .... earth to earth
Ashes to ashes
And dust to .... earth to earth
Ashes to ashes
And dust to .... earth to earth
Ashes to ashes
And dust to dust

And please let me die in solitude ...

Ich fand Nethertons (Dying Fetus, Misery Index früher) Lyrics immer sehr gut.

Commodify the vision and sanctify the rape with moral antidotes.
Wide awake and dead, we consumate the bond, stomach tied in knots.
Driving class relations, engines working hard, this mechanism breeds
contradictions.
Bury expectations, nothing's going to last, the tide is turning back -
revocation.

They can't control us, there's nothing left.
Our thirst for vengeance, your dying breath.
It's a quiet revolution, from the city to the fields.
We're not forgotten, reject this greed machine.

Hope is for the hopeless, dreaming for a life as opiates replace human
passion.
Advertise our weakness, colonize our space, feed the appetite as force fed
gluttons.

It's life in dead time, it's self-decay.
Their so-called heaven now rots away.
It's a quiet revolution, from the city to the fields.
We're not forgotten, reject this greed machine.

With golden eyes our gods will lead us.
As labor slaves we work away.
Drunk and baited, packaged, processed.
This market orgy fucks for pay.

Cutting through the lies that bind us.
Fist-fucking the status quo.
We loot and burn their paradise.
Burn.

Their planet's just a whorehouse, based on greed and avarice.
Demand your life and take it back, their world is dead and drunk on piss.
You're a slave if your collar's white, a slave if your collar's blue.
Chains locked around your neck, you'll work too hard, you'll work to death.

Tides of human flotsam floating, tired and alone.
The ones who want to fight are the ones that have no hope.
Bury all your trust just like you buried all your dreams.
The ends that justified their rule will justify our means.

Schwierig...

- Todd A (Firewater, Cop Shoot Cop), auf jeden Fall mein absoluter Lieblings-Texter.
- Justin Sullivan (New Model Army)
- Steve Von Till (Neurosis)
- Rob "The Baron" Milelr (Amibix, Tau Cross)

Robin Proper-Shepard (Sophia, The God Machine) müsste man noch nennen.

Freu mich voll, endlich mal wieder rüberzukommen.
