This is one of the hardest situations in the history of the band ever, but regarding the new situation with Up The Hammers festival (check the Facebook site), we've decided to cancel our appearance in Athens. This is no joke this time.
We already talked to Manolis about how to handle this the least stressful way and we will of course reimburse him for the flights to minimize his already crippling losses. If you bought tickets, DON'T ask for a refund. The situation is already horrible as it is for him.
We'll think of something else to support the festival financially later. We also need to get rid of the 400 shirts we printed to sell at Up The Hammers, which also is a heavy financial blow for us.
Anyways, we're incredibly sorry. Those of you who know us personally know that we don't take decisions like this lightly. In fact we've been looking forward to this show since last year. It should have been the highlight to start our 2020 live activities.
We'll definitely make up for it. We don't expect you to understand our decision, but we expect you to respect it.

Hello friends Our festival was stricken hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to a huge financial loss. Thanks to your support though, we are now able to move forward and announce our plans.��Taking into account all the facts, including but not limited to a potential state-ban on events or the capacity restrictions that might occur on indoor venues during autumn 2020, we decided to do both festival editions together, during March 2021.�That way we hope that we will be able to decrease our overall financial damage to affordable levels. Unfortunately we need to fit all the bands that have already been announced for Up the hammers XVI into one day, in order to make the attendance of the event easier for people who will come from abroad or have other commitments during weekdays. The only change is the addition of "The Rods", which will replace “Taramis". We are checking how many more bands we can add on Sunday. As far as Up the hammers XV, we were able to book again almost all the bands and we are still working with the remaining acts. Although at first it seemed impossible we now hope we will have the exact same line up for you! Tickets for Up the hammers XV are still valid as they were. We decided to decrease the price for Up the hammers XVI to 50 euro, since the bands will fit in one day. It is with heavy heart that we need to postpone the festival again. Unfortunately most of the bands dont feel safe to travel in such an uncertain period with all the covid restrictions. In addition to that gigs in Greece are not yet allowed and there is no clear date on when this will happen again. We really hope that this Summer gigs will be allowed again so we decided to move on with new dates being 9-12 June. All new electronic tickets are valid for entrance to the festival and you don't have to do anything else.
Most of the bands allready commited to the new plan and there will also be some replacements to the usual standards of Up the hammers festival.
We wish we had better news for you but the whole situation is completely out of our hands, we understand that for some of our foreign friends it is a big problem to plan ahead in short time but there is no solution that will please everyone.

We are happy to announce the final line up for long awaited UP THE HAMMERS FESTIVAL!
When we planned the June dates all bands from previously announced line up were on board for the new dates. As we were getting closer to the event many of them started cancelling for various reasons so we decided to keep only those who were determined or able to make it and add new amazing acts to it. Instead of splitting the bands in 3 days we decided to keep 2 strong days of full festival and the warm up show.
Sunday tickets will be Refunded, those of you who bought directly from ticketservices.gr will receive automatically a refund in the coming days. Those of you who exchanged your old tickets through our email or through no remorse records send us an email at uth@musicboxproductions.gr to arrange the way you can receive your money back.
The electronic tickets for Thursday, Friday and Saturday that you hold in your hands will work on the new dates and you don't have to do anything. Unfortunately due to the increased costs in almost everything nowadays we need to raise the ticket price for people who will buy from now on. Its a very small number of tickets that will be available for sale due to the decreased capacity of Gagarin so make sure you get them fast.

SKYCLAD will perform a special set for us that will consist of songs from the first 6 albums, in addition to that two our new bands KONQUEST and STRAY GODS will perform their first shows ever us bands to UP THE HAMMERS FESTIVAL! The amazing Greek Manowar tribute band FIRE AND STEEL was added to the warm up show and ATLANTEAN KODEX will perform two different sets making both Thursday and Friday special for their fans that will attend both shows.

Ιt is always with a great regret when we are forced to write an announcement about a cancelation. Being fans ourselves we empathize with the fans and the disappointment that our announcement might bring to you. And it is because we are fans, our disappointment in the bands we grew up loving is amplified.
It was always our intention for the festival to materialize, and we constantly communicated with the bands, updating them about the covid Situation in Greece. It was 3 months ago when we made the final decision and asked from all the bands their reconfirmation and their passports to arrange their transportation.
(a member of) Titan Force, ignored all the updates and neglected to issue a passport, despite knowing that the passport procedure takes a lot of time and ignoring the fact that the longer we wait, the burden of the transportation cost harms the festival.
Eventually, approximately a month ago, that member decided to finally make an application for the passport, and we were told that within a month he would have his documents, and there is no reason for alarm.
Despite the reassurances, we urged the band to consider alternatives, such as having a guest musician, and we offered to provide a list of candidates and to assist the process. Again, the band refused.
Finally, we were informed that on Monday he was going to get his passport and we were relieved that we could finally put the whole situation behind us, despite the financial damage the wait has caused us. After all, we really wanted to have Titan Force at our festival.
Shockingly, we were informed that this whole time, the application wasn’t made according to US law and the applicant didn’t follow the right procedure to get his passport.
His inability to obtain the required documents, despite having sufficient time, has stripped the fans of the band the joy of seeing them live, and stripped our festival of options, 3 weeks before the show.
You know that we do not usually make defamatory posts such as this, but unfortunately this situation caused by Titan Force leaves us with no other choice.
We are trying our best to make it up for the fans who were let down by the band. Rest assured that we will do everything in our power to provide you with the best available option, but the timeframe is very very tight.

Für mich eine Neuentdeckung und eines der Highlights des Festivals. Und die Jungs am nächsten Morgen beim Frühstück getroffen, mega sympathisch und haben auch noch einiges signiert...Mir gerade den Gig von Vultures Vengeance angeschaut... einfach nur DER HAMMER!!!

Im offiziellen Ticketshop geht das m.E. nämlich nur mit Master- oder Visacard.
