Cool, solche alten Aufnahmen find ich eigentlich immer am interssantesten - danke fürs Hochladen.

Vempire war eine meiner ersten extremen Metal CDs und ist bis heute mein Favorit von COF. Nach der ebenfalls verdammt starken Middian hab ich die dann irgendwie aus den Augen verloren.

Nachdem ich hier so viel gutes über die "Hammer Of The Witches" gelesen habe, hab ich die CD mal bestellt. Hab es bisher leider noch nicht geschafft rein zu hören. Wird hoffentlich am Wochenende nachgeholt

Drittes Video zur "Existence Is Futile" -wie auch die beiden davor extrem geil gemacht, obwohl der Song für mich nicht mal zu den absoluten Highlights des Albums gehört:

Wenn du Cradle zu der Zeit magst lohnt es sich allein wegen der 6 exklusiven Songs, aber auch die 3 Neuaufnahmen wissen zu gefallen, einzig der Sisters-Coversong ist komplett verzichtbar.

Auf jeden Fall,zumal diese EP die Spiellänge mancher regulären LP locker überschreitet. Neben 6 eigenen Songs, die zwischen der "Midian" und der "Damnation..." komponiert wurden (zwei davon haben eher Introcharakter),gibt's noch (gelungene) Neueinspielungen diverser Tracks vom Debut und eine Coverversion von "No Time To Cry" (Sisters Of Mercy).
Und wer sich über den Titel des Albums wundert: Der ist nichts anderes, als ein Walkyier-würdiges Wortspiel,welches man beim lauten Aussprechen erkennt: Bitter Suites To Succubi ===> Bit that suits to suck you by ...damit hat sich Dani eigentlich einen Pherkel-Award verdient

Meiner einer hat die Tage wieder mal das aktuelle Album aufgelegt. Prima Teil das. Allein schon "Discourse Between a Man and His Soul"
Leider gibt es viele Sachen nicht mehr auf Vinyl oder nur noch zu mehr oder weniger abgespacten Preisen auf ebay/discogs. Da bedarf es dringend Wiederveröffentlichungen. Hoffentlich ist "Bitter Suites to Succubi" nur der Anfang.
Bei emp gibt es zumindest aktuell die "Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa" für 40€.

Auf ebay die "Cryptoriana (The Seductiveness of Decay)" für 70€ oder die "Cruelty and the Beast" für 55€.
Da hab ich mal kurz überlegt und es dann doch sein lassen.
