Cover Artwork Ankündigung:
WEARER OF NUMEROUS FORMS – 06.06.2023
Fellow Pilgrims,
Today we officially announce our upcoming double album “Eremit 3 – Wearer of numerous Forms”, which will be released on 06.06.2023 by Drei Gleichen and
Fucking Kill Records.
Eremit – Wearer of numerous Forms
1. Conflicting Aspects of Reality (63:47 min.)
2. Entombed in a Prism of Blindness (21:27 min.)
3. Passages of poor Light (47:17 min.)
This record is completing the album trilogy cycle we started with “Eremit 1 – Carrier of Weight” in 2019 and continued with “Eremit 2 - Bearer of many Names” in 2021. As all our full-length records of this cycle, “Wearer of numerous Forms” consists of only three songs, yet it is over two hours long and will be released as 4x12” Vinyl and 2xCD.
World-wide pre-orders will start 05.05.2023 via the Fucking Kill Records Bandcamp page.
“Wearer of numerous Forms” is by far our largest body of work yet. This is truly a double album, as “Conflicting Aspects of Reality”, the opening track alone is, measured by it’s length, and also from a mythological point of view, a full record on its own! You waited twice as long for this record, but now you get twice as much lore, riffs and drones!
This album was recorded live at the
Tonmeisterei in Oldenburg, Germany in only five days. It is without a doubt a challenging record which shows us taking our simplistic, riff-heavy and monumental approach to doom with great freedom and exploring time and space within the framework we crafted for ourselves in the past years. The album was recorded mixed and mastered by Roland ‘Role’ Wiegner.
After the tragic loss of Mariusz Lewandowski, who was supposed to be the exclusive cover artist for this cycle of full-length records, we are humbled to have another extremely talented and critically acclaimed visual artist providing a cover for us: Adam Burke (
Nightjar art of Adam Burke).
In the coming days and weeks, we will talk more about the songs, the lore, the visuals, the merch and all that is coming along with this record. We literally worked years (!) on this album and can’t wait to share these three remaining chapters of our first story cycle with all of you.
Together in this.
All Swords Burn.
Eremit, 2023.
