:: PRE-SALE INFO & FIRST BAND ANNOUNCEMENT

We would have loved to start the ticket pre-sale for A SINISTER PURPOSE IV today, but unfortunately we need to wait with that. As of today, tightened Corona regulations are in force again in Leipzig and Saxony which provides events with 2G as well as masks and distance requirement. According to the current state we would've been only allowed to use half of the maximum capacity of UT Connewitz - this would significantly affect the normal course of the festival.
We are currently looking for alternative solutions and options that can guarantee us a more or less normal visitor concept for the upcoming festival. As soon as we have news, we will let you know of course. Sorry!

FIRST BAND ANNOUNCEMENT:

Fanebærer (Black Metal | Denmark)
Arisen from the danish Korpsånd Circle in 2017, FANEBÆRER play raw and kind of traditional Black Metal that punches hard and delivers an angry and punk tinged ferocity with it. The bands latest album “Den første ild” which was released by Nattetale received lots of positive critics and also raised the bar for Scandinavian underground metal to a new high.
We’re glad to welcome Fanebærer to bring their first fire to the old stages of UT Connewitz for the fourth edition of A Sinister Purpose.

Bissel mehr Lokalkolorit wäre echt schön hinsichtlich einem deutschen Text.
Beherrsche englisch wirklich gut…aber der Urheber denkt wahrscheinlich auf Deutsch, übersetzt dann ins englische…und ich lese englisch und übersetze im Kopf dann wieder ins deutsche.
Gehört aber nur bedingt hierher..

This artist probably doesn't need much introduction, but Leipzig’s YOUNA evolved to one of the most impressive (solo) acts within the German Black Metal underground since releasing its first full-length “Zornvlouch” last year – and we’ll finally be able to witness this beast live on stage for the first time ever! Invunche (Shamanic Black Punk | Netherlands)

In the Chilote mythology and folklore, Imbunche is a blue-skinned and sharp-teethed monster that protects the entrance to a warlocks cave. It is a deformed human whose head is twisted backwards, along with having twisted arms, fingers, nose, mouth and ears. He also cannot talk, and communicates only by guttural, rough and unpleasant sounds. The music of EL INVUNCHE could be described in a similar way – uncompromising, fast forward Punk meets early ninetees ildjarnesque Black Metal. A SINISTER PURPOSE IV will be the first gig outside of the Netherlands for this dutch-chilean act. Leipzig en ruinas!!
