Before our memories fade more and more into obscurity and the everyday life takes over again, we wanted to take the chance and tell you our deepest gratitude for this years A Sinister Purpose. It’s been the fourth time already that we held this festival, and we feel it’s needless to say that we’ve never struggled this much before – due to the pandemic things became a real pain in the ass and at some point earlier this year we thought that we need to cancel everything again from one moment to another. We haven’t counted the mental breakdowns and tantrums we’ve experienced organizing A Sinister Purpose IV, but let’s just say that we had some along the way. Nonetheless every single one was worth it in the end and we’re still relieved and unbelievable happy that we could go without a mask mandatory or even capacity limitations. Everything felt finally familiar again and that’s the only way to go for us.
First and foremost we want to thank our mad festival crew – despite the fact that half of us were stuck in quarantine until the very last moment, it’s just incredible how everyone managed to take care of their duties and responsibilities. You’re making the festival better each year and we cannot thank you enough for your hard and passionate work! Big shoutout to the bands and artists for making this festival as badass as it is nowadays – we felt that every single band f’ing delivered this time and it was an honor to host three (!) live debut performances on our stage. Hugs to UT Connewitz and our beloved Zwille. And of course thanks to our loyal audience – we hope to see all of you next year again!
We’re currently working on A Sinister Purpose V and without revealing too much it’s safe to say that we will have a massive five year anniversary next year. More infos when the time is right…

this primal and wild flame from upper austria will have a place to burn in all it´s cold crudeness .
Deep and gloomy vocals paired with ravishing melodies
and rounded off with organic drumming that will linger in your mind forevermore.
