Hätte ich auch in einen der Black-Thrash-Threads packen können, aber ich hab da irgendwie den Überblick verloren. Außerdem könnte hier ein absolutes Highlight anstehen, falls die Klasse der grandiosen "Hail the Cult"-EP gehalten werden kann.

Jedenfalls heißt die jetzt per Facebook angekündigte erste Full Length von Blackevil "The Ceremonial Fire". Wann und bei wem das Ding veröffentlicht wird, wurde noch nicht verraten, aber hier schon mal das Cover:

Das Logo passt zwar optisch meiner Meinung nach nicht so richtig gut zum Paolo-Girardi-Bild, aber das stört mich jetzt auch nicht groß.

Bei der Gelegenheit auch noch mal der Welt-Hit "Into the Firestorm" von der ersten EP für die Leute, die die Band noch gar nicht kennen:

Jetzt ist immerhin schon mal bekannt gegeben worden, bei welchen Labels das Album kommen wird:

Das Album soll ja laut Facebook-Meldung im Sommer erscheinen. Da sollte man als Hörer bis zum Konzert eigentlich genug Zeit haben, die neuen Songs zu verinnerlichen.

So, habe hier jetzt auch endlich einmal reingehört: Was mir sofort positiv aufgefallen ist, ist der Abwechslungsreichtum und der sorgfältig strukturierte Songaufbau: Klassische Heavy Metal-Harmonien im Mid-Tempo, speedige Parts, pechschwarzer Thrash - alles da und alles wirkungsvoll in Szene gesetzt. Ist doch immer wieder erfrischend, wenn es Krawallbands gibt, die neben Spikes & Leather-Attitüde und Dosenbieraura auch noch die Disziplin "Songwriting" beherrschen .

Die MLP wird bei der nächsten Dying Victims-Bestellung eingesackt!

Hab ich als cd werde mir aber das vinyl noch zulegen (müssen).
