Damn The Machine

Dass "The Last Man" aber soundtechnisch eher klingt wie "Day One" stört mich schon etwas.

DAMN THE MACHINE has teamed up with Animated Insanity Records to offer vinyl distribution of their recent releases, “Day One” and “The Last Man”, as well as DTM vocalist, David Judson Clemmons solo releases “Lights For The Living”,“Tribe And Throne“ and “Generation Vulture“. All releases include a fold out color poster with the song lyrics.

Both “Day One“ & “The Last Man“ were recorded and mixed entirely in the Los Angeles rehearsal room on the band's 8 track 1/2“ Tape Machine. The music and vocals are live, with minimal overdubs. The quality of these recordings, is absolutely outstanding with post production mastering in Berlin by Andi Jung, with artwork and design by Chris Corrado.

“Day One“ is a collection of the original demos from 1991 & 1992, that were recorded prior to signing any recording agreements. The album acts as a mirror version of the 1993 debut, carrying the same 12 tracks in the same order. Chris Poland has already commented, that he prefers the sound & energy of this edition over the debut version.

“The Last Man“ contains a collection of 10 previously unheard / unreleased original tracks, recorded from 1991-1994, an incredible collection of music, appearing as a great surprise to long time fans of DTM & Chris Poland.

Both DTM LPs feature the original lineup of Chris Poland (Guitar), Dave Randi (Bass), Mark Poland (Drums) and David Judson Clemmons a.k.a JUD (Guitar & Vocals).

Also new to Animated Insanity Records are 3 bombastic solo releases from DTM's David Judson Clemmons a.k.a. JUD “Lights For The Living (2022)“, “Tribe & Throne (2019)“, and “Generation Vulture (2016)“. These releases feature long time band mates Steve Cordrey (Bass), James Schmidt (Drums), Early Grey (Bass) & Thomas Götz (Drums), recorded in Berlin Germany and mastered by Andi Jung.

All 5 titles released originally by Village Slut Records

The LPs will be arriving at Animated Insanity Records in mid / late November and can be ordered from the websites listed below.
