Lo-Fi and handcrafted as it is, the music of FIENDISH IMP tells a little story of ancient superstition, fearful ignorance and wily wickedness during 17 minutes on this s/t Demo. For the eight years now, this chains- and bullet-bedecked power-duo have been polluting the metal underground with their belligerent brand of bestial black/death. A handful of demos as well as a split were vomited forth before GOATBLOOD's momentous debut album, Adoration of Blasphemy and War, in 2015. Ever aptly titled, Adoration of Blasphemy and War soundly put the German band on the international map, and proved that new, gnarly twists can be made to the rigorous bestial metal template. A couple more splits ensued before GOATBLOOD released their critically acclaimed second album, Veneration of Armageddon, in 2016, once again through DUNKELHEIT. With momentum building to a fever pitch, the band kept a prolific pace with 2017's Gasmask Devastation Terror demo - the title itself best encapsulating the GOATBLOOD experience, perhaps - as well as the Arma Inferre EP in 2018.

Not ones to rest on their by-now-considerable laurels, GOATBLOOD are back with LP#3, Apparition of Doomsday. Ever aptly titled, Apparition of Doomsday is indeed a more pronounceably doomed-out face of these Teutonic beasts, but one no less frightening. Whereas GOATBLOOD's previous two full-lengths kept to a many-tracks/short-length schematic - in essence, nodding to nascent grindcore like early Blood, Extreme Noise Terror, and Doom as they do to bestial progenitors Blasphemy and Beherit - here on Apparition of Doomsday do the duo blackgrind with the best of them, but often (and DEVASTATINGLY) downshift into righteously crushing 'n' hypnotic moments most Archgoated. As such, there's still a hefty number of tracks (14 compared to its predecessor's 18), but this significant shift is echoed in the new album's more-flexed length of 46 minutes. During its duration, GOATBLOOD once again offer a surprising variety of songcraft, from martial bestiality to pounding primitivism to even bestialized death and pig-fucking gore, always leaving the listener lacerated and excitingly so. Also once again, the band deliver a professional 'n' powerful production, unlike so many of their poverty-level peers, with mixing & mastering handled by M. Dahmen at Liquid Aether Audio.

Completed by unforgettable artwork courtesy of the masterful Alan Corpse, GOATBLOOD's Apparition of Doomsday is bound to set a new standard for bestial metal!

By now India is the source of some of the most unworldly combination of sunken magic, ancient knowledge, and bloodsoaked rituals imaginable. As We Forget Our Past

Italy's longest-running death metal band, HORRID have built an enviously dependable, unyielding body of work since 1989. Starting with more primitive influences but soon moving on to those of early Entombed and Dismember, the band spent the 1990s solidifying their sound over a clutch of demos and EPs. Eventually, come 2002, their debut album manifested itself as Reborn in Sin. From there, the name HORRID has continued to stand for the timeless upholding of classic death metal values.

Now, after two brand-new albums for DUNKELHEIT - 2014's Sacrilegious Fornication and 2017's Beyond the Dark Border, each one as critically acclaimed as the last - once again do HORRID align with DUNKELHEIT for a special anniversary record. Fittingly titled As We Forget Our Past, the 10-song/53 album features a slew of "greatest hits" re-recorded with HORRID's lineup that's been firm since 2015. As such, these ten tracks together form a sort of symbiosis with the preceding Beyond the Dark Border, given the massive crunch & crush of that career highpoint. With the original songs stretching back to 1997's Blasphemic Creatures and ranging 2002's Reborn in Sin, 2006's Rising From the Hidden Spheres, 2011's The Final Massacre, and even Sacrilegious Fornication, here do HORRID put on a masterclass of pure 'n' proud DEATH METAL: melodic yet dark, dynamic yet devastating, the power-trio bring the past into the present with seemingly effortless aplomb. Despite the usually tawdry proposition of most re-recordings, truly does As We Forget Our Past both re-acclimate and re-animate, this lineup of HORRID's executing these old creations with a palpitating breathlessness and goosebump-inducing poignancy, especially where the lead-guitar work is concerned. Suitably, the band round out the record with a brand-new song, the title track "As We Forget Our Past," bring that past into the present and setting their sights on the future.

Sharp in sound as „Beyond“ of Hijokaidan, but one can also find brutality similar to Massona or Grunt and above all a sound of it's own identity. There is subtle textures, rich in detail. The album will blossom best if you raise the volume until it hurts. „Brahma Shakti“ is a landmark & explains well what the album is about- ideas. The songs melt various ideas into one & takes less time as many other Power Electronic bands do. Revenant Of Blasphemies

Coming from the scorching land of Costa Rica and influenced by the movie with the same name and also by bands such as Cianide, Winter, Decomposed and I’d even dare to say Nunslaughter, the Doom Death metal band Pazuzu present for the very first time their 2017 debut demo “Revenant of Blasphemies” on vinyl and CD.

Originally released on limited edition tape and cd by Psychogrind records, this obscure recording immerses the avid listener into the corridors of stench, decay and the uselessness of the Christian dogma and shows the imminent fate of the bastard manking at the hands of a failed God and the welcoming of Death as the only possible fate to come...

Mastered and refurbished in 2019 by Dan Lowndes at Resonance Studio- UK for an enhanced audio experience, this demo is a Tour de Force through the corridors of the asphyxiating and claustrophobic atmospheres of Doom Metal but well balanced with the dynamics and minimalism of Archaic and rhythmic Death Metal. Three songs plus intro and outro which set the pace for the doom that is to come…

After three long years, Entartung finally returns from the ominous shadows to which they silently retreated after the release of their prior opus, “Baptised into the Faith of Lust”. It is fitting that, in a new age of plague and pestilence, their newest album “Maleficae Artes” (Lat. “Dark Arts”) is unleashed upon the world.

The elaborate compositions on “Maleficae Artes” are deeply and firmly rooted in the early 90's atmosphere and remain true to the original spirit of black metal. Brooding, sinister, violent and menacing themes presented by the trademark icy riffing of Lykormas and the militaristic and deadly precise battery assault of Haistulf manifest themselves in a dynamic interaction with acoustic and martial touches of melancholy and gloom.

The lyrical subject matters explored on “Maleficae Artes” are devoted to death, the Faustian spirit, ancient rituals and traditions and the darker chapters of human history; enhancing the experience in a synergetic fashion.

The cover artwork, which conceptually is in unison with the album title, is a modified painting by Salvator Rosa. It illustrates a Biblical episode where king Saul summons a spirit with the help of a witch - directly violating Mosaic Law that demanded the death penalty for necromancy.

After the impacting assault of Kolkatian Warnoise command "Infest Cesspool" and the devastating yet hateful assault on the modern world "Termination Apex", KAPALA allied with german power electronics act CHAOS CASCADE for a cooperation to leave this world behind in ruins and ashes: "Contamination Alliance". A wall of destructive and crushing Warnoise will throw down and finish the listener... Harsh, sharp and manipulating frequencies by CHAOS CASCADE will do the rest and open the gateway of an unknown matrix beside this world. A cruel world behind this world...

KAPALA kick off with a true explosion of brutality. Pounding drums and clear, ripping guitar riffs are mingled together to form a block of truly unrelenting War Noise. Always mainting a perfect balance between musical elements and harshest chaos, the Indian battle unit marches through their side of the split spitting in the faces of those unworthy of life and reaching peaks of brutality which may only be matched by acts like Intolitarian or Tetragrammacide.

CHAOS CASCADE offers yet another approach, expanding their sonic arsenal while staying true to their classical brand of unrelenting barbarism. Dark analogue throbs and crispy analogue textures form a truly demonic atmosphere, which will crush the weak into a mass of bloody pulp. This is mid-paced Power Electronics dominance with elitist War Metal attitude and truly a rope around the neck of human vermin, which gets more and more intense every second, until it reaches the final ejaculation of harshness and dissonance.

„Contamination Alliance“ is brutality and violence condensed into wax and another successful assassination carried out by the German and Indian audial death squads. This is definitely not for the blind and crippled mass, but a declaration of war on modernity.

There are many ways by which a Split album may be crafted and created. Despite of all possible reasons and causes, in order to create a successful split album an awakened state and sense of coherency between the involved bands should be established. But how does this coherency and common ground work within the parameters of this particular split?

First of all, the Blackened death metal band Putrid, became in only mere 10 years of existence, one of the most prolific and constant bands in the local Peruvian scene. With a number of demos, splits and 2 full length albums they have been growing and maturing from playing some sort of Blackened Death/thrash metal into their current incarnation which is a very agile, consistent and forceful take of death metal influenced by the stamina of Angelcorpse, Abhorrence and the foul aggression of the veterans Slayer. Here, on this split album, they have continued with their onslaught already established by their previous album “Antichrist Above”. The outburst of violence presented as their side of this split could be taken as an appendix of that album.

As for the side of Grave Desecration, being formed more than 20 years ago and with a modest number of releases, they have shown that working at a slower pace may be more effective for their Virulent take of Black Death metal with reminiscences of Black Witchery, older Impaled Nazarene, Sarcofago and basically every minimalistic band focused on relentless sonic aggression. The three tracks recorded for this particular split album resume very well what they have doing for a number of years and what can be done without distancing from the basic pillars of Bestial Black War Metal.

So, there you have the connection: both bands differ in form and method, but both share the same purpose; they offer explosive exercises of musical intensity mixed with their raw take of antichristianity and the adoration of the Dark Lord as standard of War against the Abrahamic dogma.

Active since 2013 and following the previous álbum called “Perversiones de Muerte Putrefacta”, the side Project of the sick mind self-called Cadaver, is ready to unleash upon feeble minded bastards a new destructive installment called “Mortandad”, which continues to the legacy of ultra conservative declaration of Death Metal / Grindcore with clear influences of old school bands such as Napalm Death, Repulsion, Blood and mixing these with the regimental militancy of Proclamation and Black Witchery.

The result of this interesting musical symbiosis is “Mortandad”, an album filled not only with the purity of the genres perhaps due to the isolation of the Panamanian scene where they are from, but also soaked with the Central American brutality which they draw their lyrical influences from. Because “Mortandad”, is not an album filled with senseless and shocking violence and gore done for the sake of it like many of their colleagues of the genre, but they have inspired their lyrics in a real brutal case which turns the whole listening experience into a Bizarre tour de Force of unseen violence for good old Europe of the current times.

Black Communion is a young band coming from Barranquilla, Colombia, but in their relatively short career, they have been fructiferous and devoted to the Temple of virulent and warlike black death metal. So far they have released a couple of demos, an EP, a split album, a complete full length and even a live recording.

While many others opt for experimentation and distortion of the essence of the Bestial side of Black metal, Black Communion, true to the parameters and the harsh and morbid essence of the Southamerican underground scene, have opted for going back to the pillars and roots of the genre undergoing a complete tour de force through the pestilent caverns of blasphemous Bestial Black metal. That is, revisiting and taking influences by primordial acts such as Black Witchery, Blasphemy, Beherit, Revenge, VON and even the morbidity of older Profanatica. Having this explosive cocktail shaken, drank and regurgitated in the southamerican way, they have managed to record a second full length album called “Miasmic Monstrosity” which continues with the path already established by their very early material.

Lyrically, they have left behind any pretentious approach but instead they have immersed themselves into the primitive ways of adoration and horror which lies behind the Dark Arts.

“Miasmic Monstrosity” has been recorded at Fenix Studios in Soledad, Atlantico –in their native Colombia, that is, and Mastered by M. Dahmen at Liquid Aether Audio (Germany) for the best possible sonic attack. The artwork was handled by the Peruvian young promise K. Guerrero for the hideous Temple of Kalighat, and released by your truly, Dunkelheit Produktionen.

"Miasmic Monstrosity" was recorded at Fenix Studios in Soledad, Atlantico (Colombia) between March and April, 2019. Mixed by Hermes Martinez at Fenix Studios (Colombia). Active since 2013 and following the previous álbum called “Perversiones de Muerte Putrefacta”, the side Project of the sick mind self-called Cadaver, is ready to unleash upon feeble minded bastards a new destructive installment called “Mortandad”, which continues to the legacy of ultra conservative declaration of Death Metal / Grindcore with clear influences of old school bands such as Napalm Death, Repulsion, Blood and mixing these with the regimental militancy of Proclamation and Black Witchery.

The result of this interesting musical symbiosis is “Mortandad”, an album filled not only with the purity of the genres perhaps due to the isolation of the Panamanian scene where they are from, but also soaked with the Central American brutality which they draw their lyrical influences from. Because “Mortandad”, is not an album filled with senseless and shocking violence and gore done for the sake of it like many of their colleagues of the genre, but they have inspired their lyrics in a real brutal case which turns the whole listening experience into a Bizarre tour de Force of unseen violence for good old Europe of the current times.
