Coming from the scorching land of Costa Rica and influenced by the movie with the same name and also by bands such as Cianide, Winter, Decomposed and I’d even dare to say Nunslaughter, the Doom Death metal band Pazuzu present for the very first time their 2017 debut demo “Revenant of Blasphemies” on vinyl and CD.

Originally released on limited edition tape and cd by Psychogrind records, this obscure recording immerses the avid listener into the corridors of stench, decay and the uselessness of the Christian dogma and shows the imminent fate of the bastard manking at the hands of a failed God and the welcoming of Death as the only possible fate to come...

Mastered and refurbished in 2019 by Dan Lowndes at Resonance Studio- UK for an enhanced audio experience, this demo is a Tour de Force through the corridors of the asphyxiating and claustrophobic atmospheres of Doom Metal but well balanced with the dynamics and minimalism of Archaic and rhythmic Death Metal. Three songs plus intro and outro which set the pace for the doom that is to come…

It was the year of 2008, when a new fanzine arose from the ashes of Summon For Satan: Temple of Adoration. From then on, seven issues were published until 2017. Dunkelheit Produktionen herein presents a compilation of all past issues, around 360 pages dedicated to demo tapes, infamous bands, old cults, dirt, Metal, Satan, Noise and cut & paste. These seven issues include 100 interviews, reviews, articles, short stories & sleazy comic strips. Constituting a true encyclopedia of underground devotion. In addition to that which was previously published as separate issues, the book includes some exclusive material, such as interviews with Trepanation (Nzl), Tomb, Trono Além Morte, American Line Productions, Obrok, Dekonstruktor, Voids Of Vomit, Clamor In Tenebris and Tinieblas (Ven).

Junior (Enslaver), who used to work as a cartoonist for a Panamanian newspaper in the early 90ies, contributed with a comic strip as well. On top of that, there is another disturbing short story by S.R. of Nameless Tomb.

In the future I may return with a new issue. Until then, buy the book and worship the darkest past at the Temple of Adoration!

Brahmastrika was conceived through revelations on the ancient shamshan grounds of Kalikshetra, adi-karmic yantraniti was bestowed on our vessels of flesh to reveal the secrets of the sanatana yudhakarma, through nuclear metal of ultimate death, that has led to the Excarnastrial Commencination demo.

Cosmic entrapments of Adi-kalpic proportions have been initiated. Paramanobik annihilation rituals are sharpened though bijamantras. Imminent end of cyclic adharma will be executed Without Any Warning!

By now India is the source of some of the most unworldly combination of sunken magic, ancient knowledge, and bloodsoaked rituals imaginable. All this is transferred into indescribable, deadly Death/Black Metal: Oribiting around the likes of TETRAGRAMMACIDE and KAPALA the extremists named BRAHMASTRIKA (hailing from Kolkata) fire their bestial Warnoise of the most inhuman kind into the unsuspecting world.

The first demo ‘Excarnastial Commencination’ is being released by Dunkelheit Produktionen exclusively on 150 tapes (back w/ silver onbody print), containing 28 minutes of borderline violence: ripping and raging, powerful and overpowering. If you lived through SUBDUER, APARTHIVA RAKTADHARA or KAPALA, BRAHMASTRIKA might as well give you the final blow.

From time to time you do encounter bands which while treading the traditional path in Metal, still offer new elements which make them unique, and in the process, un-altering their devotion to the primeval genre.

ORDO CAPER is a band hailing from Costa Rica, active since 2010 and with a dossier consisting in an important number of releases, among demos, eps and splits (some of them with the caliber of bands such as Obeisance, Anal vomit and ROK).

After 10 years of existence, Dunkelheit proudly presents at last their first full length album, consisting of newly recorded versions of old tracks together with new ones, and with this, portraying their special take of death metal, sluggish at times, rotten and traditional, but at the same time innovative and bizarre. Intricate and wicked riffing coupled with down tuned guitars, chaotic soloing and a putrid voice which show that everything hasn’t been said yet regarding to Death Metal.

Mastered in June 2020 by M. Dahmen at Liquid Aether Audio, Germany for best listening experience, “Aphorism of Baneful Arts” will be released as CD / LP.

Death Metal offenders KAAL AKUMA from Bangladesh unleash their first album - 36 minutes of heavy and unrelenting frequencies await the listener.

Located somewhere inbetween the defining classics of Death Metal and new school brutality, this album creates a tense and brutal atmosphere that encorporates all the classic virtues, while still managing to create an own sense of identity. The pacing ranges from slow and torturous to fast and unrelenting, the guitars deliver razorsharp riffs and solos and the drums accompany the vocalist's ghoulish growls in furious precision. Unlike with many newer and more forgettable projects, KAAL AKUMA maintain a very high level of musicianship and production, which makes them stand out among the crowd noticeably.

Fanatics may be reminded of the glorious days of Massacre and early Death, as well as Dead Congregation, which the band sees as one of their main influences. However, this is not solely a recollection of the past, but an album that can easily take on any contemporary act when it comes to brutality and determination. Tracks like „Black Death Sacrifice“ and „In the Mouth of Madness“ are sure to excite any connaisseur with their purulent and decayed aura of cosmic horror and unspeakable rites. You just can’t fake it, you know? That special kind of filth and feeling of utter abomination. You can’t. It has to come straight from your guts, like a sudden urge to vomit. Some say call it instinct, others will probably choose blind devotion instead but whatever it is, BLASPHEMOUS PUTREFACTION is death metal incarnated. But death-metal at its most primal and gnarly, where the riffs are more dragged in the mud screaming than actually performed and where there’s no room for melody nor any other sign of normal human feeling. No, what we have here is disgusting, necro and downtuned madness.

The band was founded in June 2017 by Satanic Death Vulva (strings, vomits) and Tar Morion (drums, noise) who had already played together in DECIBEL REBELS and, most notably, in GENOCIDE with whom they released last year the massive piece of blasphemy known as Demonic Rituals In The Shadow Of Endless Fire. Thus throughout the years, they’ve developed an almost telepathic relationship, Morion rough and almost ritualistic drumming completing perfectly Vulva sluggish playing. While some will instantly recognize the latter caveman guitar style from his work with the gasmask terrorists GOATBLOOD and while it’s true they share the same obsession for the most bestial form of extreme metal possible, BLASPHEMOUS PUTREFACTION truly remains a beast on its own.

First exposed on the Abominable Premonition demo in 2017 and excreted again on the Festering Plagues EP two years later, their music takes the most disgusting elements of death/doom and cult bands like (very early) INCANTATION or PUNGENT STENCH and smear them in pus and excrements. And to say that things sound as nasty, if even more, on their first proper full-length Prelude To Perversion is an understatement. The most impressive fact though about this foul aural document is that it was over a year in the making as the pair had to go through no less than three different studios before getting the right mix and master.

Actually, what’s most striking about Prelude is that unlike most of all the other war metal combos at there, BLASPHEMOUS PUTREFACTION took the opposite sonically wise. Whereas the songs are on purpose adorned with rough arrangements and slimy parts, instead of the awaited lo-fi fuzzy sound, the listeners are instantly assaulted by a massive and powerful production, thus enhancing their bestial nature instead of taming it.

From their moniker to the album’s straight-forward artwork or its bludgeoning musical content, BLASPHEMOUS PUTREFACTION makes no mystery on what they’re all about. And Prelude To Perversion is their manifesto of hate.

It is well known the reputation achieved by the Chilean Metal of Death. This is not only a good sign for healthy competition but also a hard ordeal for new bands because they will feel obliged to match, otherwise they will be buried before starting to breath among the stench of the catacombs of death.

Sepulchral Rites are a young band wanting to contribute to the Chilean pantheon with their young blood of Death Metal. And while they do tread the long trodden path of old school Death Metal, they have managed to offer something new to those always seeking to inhale decay and at the same time being invigorated by it. “Death and Blood Ritual” is their new recording, and offers a personal take and perspective of old school death metal through the young eyes of a female band. Their sound exhales death imbued with a feminine influence of Southamerican shamanism and primal nocturnal witchcraft, and in such a way, they have contributed not only to the Chilean scene, but also to the worldwide death metal scene.

“Death and Bloody Ritual” presents four tracks with an outro and intro sealing the pact with the feminine relationship with nature, shamanism and witchcraft with a cyclic nature: everything ends where it begins, very much like with death itself.

“Death and Bloody Ritual” was mixed, mastered and engineered at Necrotic Studio, by B. Necroskull (B. Barrantes) during April, 2020.
