Die amerikanische Version war (soweit ich weiß) auch gar keine Box, sondern einfach „nur“ ein Bundle mit einer exklusiven Vinylfarbe und diversem Merch (u.a. mit der von Dir erwähnten Fahne).

Die „normale“ Box ist ja tatsächlich viel billiger. 75€ kostet die und dafür gibt es auch einiges.
Nur die auf 50 Stück limitierte Holzbox kostete 300€ und das lag wohl einfach daran, dass bei jedem einzelnen Exemplar das Cover von Hand in das Holz geschnitzt (!) wurde. Den Preis erkläre ich mir dann ganz einfach mit dem Aufwand und der Bezahlung des Künstlers. Ob man das für sinnvoll hält und so viel Geld dafür ausgeben will, ist natürlich eine andere Frage.

Ich wollte das 70er Fantasy Style mäßig noch mit anderen Elementen (diese klassischen vintage Einrahmungen alter Pulp Fantasy) versehen, aber die beiden wollten nur reine Schrift im alten Stil drauf haben.
