Don't know, if this is the right place. To ask some information, or try to get DF interested in a big article about the new-born Old School Death Metal scene.

The last 2 years, there is a huge revival, of this excellent scene, within Germany and the Netherlands as some big leaders.
Some really great talented bands and artists show their skills, But none of these, seem to be picked up by the real major labels. Lifeless, Entrapment, Revel in Flesh, Massive Assault, Departed Souls and more. While other bands from Sweden, who have an average sound (Vampire), got easily signed by labels as CM.

Would love to know, and see what's going on, in this scene and why, these things happen. It might be a nice chapters, following article to see within the DF zine. To get the real Underground feeling from it.

Didn't say they were bad. But more average. Other bands as Deserted Fear or Smothered bring so much more.

But to each its own ofcourse.

Nice to read this reaction. I agree with you on the swedish part. But not completely with the bands as Necros, Chapel. these aren't the real OSDM bands that i meant.
Venenum is indeed also a great example of a perfect band that fits the OSDM i mean. Beyond and Drowned as well. Why aren't these picked up?
And what "image" do these swedish bands have? I talk a lot with swedish band members, And they try real hard to get signed. And these are the guys, who were there from start of. With their new bands and so on. Not the new breed bands as you mentionned.

Nee, natürlich nicht. Aber es spielt sicher eine Rolle, wenn man sich fragt, warum die Labels solche Bands sich holen und nicht andere - Image ist halt ein wichtiges Teil des Rock´n´Roll Zirkus, ob man es will oder nicht.

Hmmm... Noch ein Special zu den bestimmt 100 anderen die jetzt kommen werden? Weiß nicht, ob man das braucht. Es sei denn man zieht das komplett anders auf. Für ne tolle Idee fehlt mir im Moment aber die Kreativität.

Ein Lemmy-Special bzw. ein Lemmy-Sonerderheft sollte es in sehr naher Zukunft geben. So ausführlich wie möglich.

Das DF hat sich schließlich nach einem der besten Songs von Orgasmatron benannt.
Ich traue euch mehr als anderen Magazinen zu, tiefgehendere und informativere Interviews mit Fast Eddie, Mikkey, Phil
und Lemmy´s Sohn Paul Inder zu führen, dabei auch ehrlich und respektvoll zu bleiben, ohne auf Stereotype und alte Texte
zurückzugreifen.
Wer, wenn nicht das DF?!?!

Klingt sehr gut, was du sagst, allerdings erscheint das nächste Heft "erst" im Februar, zu dem Zeitpunkt werden MH, RH und Co das Thema wahrscheinlich schon total ausgeschlachtet haben. Ich hoffe wie exumer auf einen ganz anderen Ansatz. Aber ein Special/Extra/wasauchimmer sollte es auf jeden Fall geben.

Stimmt, da rächt sich das zweimonatige Erscheinen.
Aber lieber ein respekt- und liebevoll aufgemachtes Special / Sonderheft in 3-5 Monaten als ein Heft, welches eigentlich
nur alte Artikel und Rezis wiederverwertet. Können das Rocks und das Classic Rock nämlich ganz gut, und im Rock Hard dürften
auf die schnelle und mit der heißen Nadel gestrickt auch keine brandneuen und hochaktuellen Interviews und
unbekannte Infomationen stehen.
Aber gerade eine allumfassende Werk- und Lebensrückblende eines der wichtigsten Rockmusiker der letzten 50 Jahre
braucht Zeit für gute Recherche. Zumal man den zu interviewenden Familien- und Bandmitgliedern plus Weggefährten
auch ausreichend Zeit zur Trauer geben sollte.

Und eine Bitte habe ich: keine Ultra-Fans mit ihrer Sammlung im Heft und auch keine "Edelfans" von anderen Bands, die ansonsten mit Lemmy / Motörhead soviel zu tun haben wie Star Wars mit Star Trek.
