Ist so Old Schhol/ Youth Crew Sound. Echt empfehlenswert.

Letzte Wochenende gesehen, bin begeistert!

20 Buck Spin presents an updated version of The Sleeping Eye, by Texas hardcore/metal tyrants, IRON AGE. Commemorating the tenth anniversary of the monolithic album, the 2019 reissue will feature brand new artwork and see release on all formats this October. Alongside the new artwork, the album is now streaming in its entirety alongside digital preorders, and the band will play two shows in Brooklyn this week.

In 2009, IRON AGE unleashed their second LP, The Sleeping Eye, upon the world like a many-tentacled monstrosity, ripping to shreds boundaries between epic heavy metal and punishing hardcore. Now, ten years on from its initial foray into earthly realms, The Sleeping Eye has awakened again as 20 Buck Spin re-releases the now legendary Texas crossover masterpiece.

Pushing forward from their 2006 Constant Struggle debut LP, The Sleeping Eye presents crossover with an arid menacing desolation and bold spirit confidently going beyond the genre's limits to introduce tastefully complex arrangements and experimentation with style. Working equally as individual songs and a distinct conceptual whole, IRON AGE forged an LP of lasting importance and influence.

Adorned with new artwork by Jerry "Wyrmwalk" Hionis to more fully embrace the deeply-rooted Lovecraftian madness at the album's core, The Sleeping Eye remains as powerful as ever ten years later, reigniting the IRON AGE, and its impact can be widely felt throughout the metal/hardcore scene of the last decade.

IRON AGE's The Sleeping Eye can be streamed in its entirety RIGHT HERE.

Fans of Animosity-era Corrosion Of Conformity, Best Wishes-era Cro-Mags, Power Trip, Foreseen, and Eternal Champion, don't hesitate to check out IRON AGE. 20 Buck Spin will reintroduce The Sleeping Eye to the masses on LP, CD, cassette, and digital formats on October 11th Find digital preorders HERE and watch for physical options to post in the days ahead.

IRON AGE continues to play select headlining shows, and will perform two nights at Brooklyn, New York's Saint Vitus Bar, this Friday, August 9th and Sunday the 11th. Watch for additional live news to be posted in the coming months.

FETISH - World Eater LP, bin Fanboy...

Promo-Blabla: "As if it’s not enough that Fetish features legendary Poison Idea members Steve “Thee Slayer Hippy” Hanford and Eric “Vegetable” Olsen, and later-era Poison Idea guitarist Brandon Bentley, it also includes three of the members of the Portland punk rock machine that is Long Knife, Colin Jarrell, Scott Goto, and Chris Reid."

Noisecore, Black Metal, Power-Violence, bisschen Screamo und alles anderes was lärmt. Dazu 'ne amtliche Produktion und gutes Songwriting. Vielversprechend.
