Als Fan des Genres hat es mich sehr gefreut, zu lesen, dass es bald in Frankfurt ein Dungeon Synth-Konzert geben wird. Hierzulande ja noch recht selten (abgesehen von Berlin...). Daher vielleicht auch für den einen oder anderen hier interessant.

Gestern in einem Linzer Keller Deep Gnome, Atlantean Sword, Putrid Marsh und Malfet gesehen. Schon diese vier Acts boten in ihrer Aufeinanderfolge einen musikalisch sehr abwechslungsreichen Abend, zudem kam die jeweils sehr unterschiedliche Performance.

Wäre ich heute in Frankfurt, würde ich mir das wohl nochmal geben, Empfehlung für Kurzentschlossene.

Dungeon Synth hat definitiv seine eigene Aura bei Live-Auftritten und nochmal einen eigenen "Geschmack" bei den jeweiligen Künstler:innen.

Frankfurt war leider viel zu weit weg für mich, aber ich freue mich extrem darauf, Malfet im Rahmen des zweiten Echoes from the Dungeon Fests in Utrecht zu sehen.
Atlantean Sword waren beim letztjährigen Festival super!

Das sehe ich für Frankfurt fast genau so. Deep Gnome kam allerdings auch hier als Opener sehr gut an. Die Leute waren aber überhaupt sehr wohlwollend bzw. dankbar, dass so ein Paket in die Stadt gekommen ist. Putrid Marsh hat hingegen ebenfalls (zumindest zu Beginn) für leichte Verwirrung gesorgt. Aber da die Sets ja alle nicht sehr lang sind, war es jetzt auch nicht schlimm, wenn ein Act nicht hundert Prozent gezündet hat. Malfet war auch hier stark, als "Headliner" hätte ich aber eher Atlantean Sword ausgewählt. Wie gesagt, das Publikum war insgesamt sehr positiv. Allerdings gab es in den Sets ja auch immer wieder ruhigere Momente und da hört man leider genau die drei Nasen, die sich die ganze Zeit lautstark unterhalten müssen. Aber das kennt man ja. Insgesamt hoffe ich, dass der recht hohe Publikumsandrang dazu führt, dass man hier öfter Dungeon Synth Veranstaltungen durchzieht. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass die Veranstalter mit der Besucherzahl unzufrieden waren
