Da ich nach einer sehr entspannten Stunde mit Bier und Formel 1 und @zopilote , @feanor und @Teutonic Witcher fest auf Formel 1 oder ein DDR-Metal-Set nach Vorbild dieses Texas-Metal-Specials vor ein paar Jahren hoffe, habe ich selbstverständlich schon ein Ticket gekauft.

HELL FREEZES OVER are a Japanese band that released one full length five years ago plus several EPs. Somehow they were always flying under the radar in the scene and last year I saw them live in Tokyo and they totally blew me away. It was like seeing an 80s Power/Speed Metal band in their glory days. Such an energetic and entertaining live band. The full length that got released five years ago is also amazing. So it was about time to get these maniacs over to Europe for the first time so people can see how great they are. I put a video in the comments.

Es ist ja ganz nett, dass man mit Violet eine Melodic Rock Band holt. Die klingen auch ganz gut. Schöner wäre es natürlich, wenn es eine Band aus den 80ern wäre. Z.B. Baton Rouge, Black'n'Blue oder die Dänen Dalton. Ich weiss nicht, ob alle noch aktiv sind, aber so als als Beispiele.

EAGLEWING from Colorado released a SENSATIONAL good 7" single last year and are one of the biggest hopefuls for Classic and US Metal nowadays. They right now finalize their first full length album that will hit us in the autumn hopefully. Singer Ross Taylor Murphy has such an extraordinary great voice in the vein of Rhett Forrester and Bon Scott, but completely Metal fueled. They just played a fantastic show at Legions Of Metal Festival in Chicago and will play theit first European show at KIT in 2026. In the comments you can find the two 7" tracks that will blow your mind.

Oh jaaaaa, auf die bin ich ganz besonders gespannt. Die beiden Tracks auf der Single sind der HAMMER, und erinnern mich an alte Twisted Tower Dire. Ich meine, was willst du mehr, als Underground Fan?!

Eaglewing klingen fantastisch … habe mir gerade sofort mal die Single geordert.

Asedio klingen auch gut, erinnern mich an Acero Letal.

Metallus aus Polen sind absolut grandios und live eine Wucht (der beste Auftritt 2024, den ich erlebt habe und es waren so einige Bands, die ich gesehen habe…)! Ihr Motto, slow as a mountain, massive like Conan biceps ^^. Into Glory Ride (Manowar) meets Crystal Logic (Manilla Road) meets Nightfall (Candlemass) und all das ganz wunderbar auf eigene Art und Weise mit dem Basser und Gitarristen (beide hammer Sänger!) jeweils abwechselnd am Gesang zelebriert!
