today we are happy to announce the next band for Keep It True Rising V - The Final Chapter.
There were a lot of requests to have more DOOM Metal on the final RISING. So here we go, we were able to book The Obsessed with a Special „Church Within“ Set. The band will do only a very few rare shows with this set, so this will be a big highlight for all the Doom Maniacs out there.

Hello Friends,
today we are happy to announce the next band for Keep It True Rising V - The Final Chapter.
Sometimes with newcomers it hits you like a hammer. You hear it and you know: THATS IT!! This happened when I listenend to the brand new video clip from Void-Louisiana Thrash Metal „Return Of The Phantom“. It hit the underground like a bomb. Its a perfect symbiosis of Power and Thrash Metal, with unique vocals, great technical players and amazing songwriting. They recently signed to Shadow Kingdom Records. The video is in the comments. After watching it many times there was no other choice than to bring the band to Germany for the first time. We are very excited to have this sensational newcomer at KEEP IT TRUE Festival.

VOID sind mal cool. Angel Witch auch. AK..mei. Auch in Ordnung. Rest ist aber nicht zwingend, eher schulterzuckend.

Stimmt schon, aber mit dieser kritisch-distanzierten Haltung kann man den Gig gut angehen, finde ich. "The Church Within" ist imho das beste Obsessed-Album und da habe ich schon Bock drauf. Zudem finde ich es lobenswert, dass die Veranstalter sich ernsthaft um eine Schlagseite of Doom bemühen. Das ist mehr als angemessen, wenn dieser wunderbare Betonklotz mit dem KIT Rising V wirklich zu Grabe getragen wird. Mehr davon!

today we are happy to announce the next bands for Keep It True Rising V - The Final Chapter
It was in 1993. Death were playing in my hometown Würzburg. I went there early and was able to talk to Chuck Schuldiner for some hours about Metal. He was highly influenced by mainly European Metal like Acid, Ostrogoth and most of it all Sortilege. He was a huge fan and very enthusiastic about it. Such a nice guy to talk to. Ten years later I started KEEP IT TRUE Festival. My dream was always to have „Death“ on it, but for obvious reasons it was never possible with Chuck. But now I am endlessly happy to announce, after years of trying, that Left to Die will play at Keep It True Rising V. For those who don’t know, its the band featuring legendary original Death members Rick Rozz (guitar) and Terry Buttler (bass) plus the great Matt Harvey (vocals and guitar) and Gus Rios (drums). Matt sounds perfectly like a young Chuck and the band is so amazing live. Its the closest you can ever come to an 80s DEATH show. I hope you are all as happy as me about this booking.
Also the final band fort he Thursday will be Japanese Heavy Metal Heroes Risingfall. One of the greatest younger bands around. I saw them in Japan a month ago and they delivered a killer show and I booked them right away. They already released albums on German labels Dying Victims and Golden Core. Please check them out asap if you don’t know them.
