Hello Friends,
we are very happy to introduce you to our next band for the Friday of Keep It True Rising V - The Final Chapter
Palantŷr are an amazing new band from France who changed their name lately from Destrukt. I got a 3 song tape at last KIT Rising and was blown away. Now the band is releasing their first full EP through the great Jawbreaker Records label from Sweden and I was able to hear it and to me they are one of the most promising bands of the future. Fast and sharp songs, played on the highest level meet with the outstanding vocals of Athena. Imagine a Savage Grace „Master Of Disguise“ with more powerful sound and female vocals. Total killer. Despite all the speed, all songs are very melodic with no cheese at all. Its rounded up by a fantastic cover version of „Nosferatu“ by Goth Rock Icon Paul Roland, done in their own powerful way. I waited no second to contact the band and secure them for the opening spot on the Rising Friday. In the comments you find the „Destrukt“ version of one of the songs from the EP, they have not released a video under the new name yet.

Ich würde ja gerne auf das von dir veranstaltete "Arroganz kann's" Festival kommen, vor allem der Headliner "Mangelnder Respekt" hat es mir angetan, aber leider bin ich da schon auf dem KIT.

Bin ja eher die Fraktion Knüppel aus dem Sack, aber trotzdem wird es das dritte KIT Rising für mich und ich find das Billing mega. Ich mein, was ist denn hier bitte die Erwartungshaltung. Dass Oliver zum Nekromanten mutiert und Mark Shelton aus dem Grab beschwört, damit Manilla Road nochmal spielen können? Echt jetzt, wenn was net passt geht man net hin und fertig und ranzt den Veranstalter nicht noch im Forum an.

Ja, ich war gestern schlecht gelaunt und hab das dann hier wohl rausgelassen, sorry.
Trotzdem finde ich das Billing bisher eher mittelgut. Klar ist es toll, Newcomern eine Bühne zu geben, aber ich finde, gerade für das letzte Rising, sind das ein paar viele.
