Ich find "Månegarm" aufgrund des hohen Folk-Anteils gar nicht mal so vergleichbar mit denen, zumindest nicht mit "Vargstenen" und "Nattväsen" (auf der zudem der weibliche Gesang fehlt). "Vredens Tid" ist wie (schon mal erwähnt) mein Favorit von MÅNEGARM, in der momentanen Euphorie hab ich das neue Album knapp dahinter.
Den Vorgänger "Legions Of The North" find ich hingegen auch nicht so schlecht, daß "Månegarm" "auf jeden Fall besser" ist.

Fast bißl untertrieben. "Blodörn", "Tagen av daga" und "Kraft" könnten vielleicht sogar zu den besten Songs gehören, die MÅNEGARM je aufgenommen haben.

@Warrior Ok, direkt Song-vergleichbar vielleicht nicht, aber für mich vergleichbar in dem Sinne, wie sehr es mich pers. begeistert ;) "Kraft" ist in der Tat einer der besten Songs der Band, sehe ich auch so. "Blodörn"… tja, irgendwie fehlt mir da was. Hatte ich hier im Thread schon mal irgendwo kurz geschrieben. Ist schon toll und episch etc., aber dennoch - irgendwas nicht ganz Greifbares fehlt mir da. Und "Legions Of The North" ist mir bis auf 2, 3 Songs echt nicht gut reingelaufen, plätschert so vorbei. Da ist das neue Ding schon deutlich toller… Aber alles Ansichtssache ;)

Nuja, besser als gar nicht. ;)
Find's nach wie vor völlig geil, ist in meiner Jahreswertung auch auf Platz 3 gelandet. In der MÅNEGARM-Diskographie bei mir tatsächlich das zweitbeste Album (hinter "Vredens Tid").

Sofern die Chance noch besteht, geht zu den Gigs. Ist echt klasse und Manegarm spielen viel von den vorigen Alben. Soweit ich mich erinnere, nur 2-3 Songs von dem neuen Album.
