Also be aware that a hostel near the festival has informed us that they don't want to be associated with Metal Magic anymore, asking us to remove their logo from our flyers and telling us to NOT send our guest there...
So we really wish that our guest in the future would aim for Best Western Plus Hotel Fredericia and Hotel Medio Fredericia when going to Metal Magic Festival

One of the great albums born back then was 'HELL AND HIGH WATER' by Alien Force, who now 40 years later will be playing that album in its entirety at next year's Metal Magic Festival!

To find today's artist, we have to go all the way back to the 60s, when this gentleman toured with the biggest of stars and reached the top of the worlds charts. A song about fire became his legacy which still stands today, as a thrilling monument in the history of shock rock and an eternal inspiration to the darkest areas of Heavy Metal!

Arthur Brown is an English rock singer and songwriter best known for his flamboyant theatrical performances, and his powerful, wide- ranging operatic voice. He has been a major influence on a wide range of musicians due to his outstanding vocal ability and willd stage persona and concepts. He is considered a pioneer of shock rock and progressive rock and influential on heavy metal music.

Brown lead his bands the Crazy World of Arthur Brown and Arthur Browns Kingdom Come, followed by a varied solo career. He associated with Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Frank Zappa, Hawkwind, Klaus Schultze, Alice Cooper. A cameo appearance in the cult film “Tommy”, with Eric Clapton and The Who. Countless collaborations; The Alan Parsons Project , The Stranglers, The Prodigy…

His bestknown 1968 single “Fire”, number 1 in the UK singles chart and Canada, and a number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The album “The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown” had top ten success on both sides of the Atlantic. Following “Fire”, the press would often refer to Brown as “The God of Hellfire”, in reference to the opening shouted line of the song.

Klingt bisher sehr geil das Billing. Hatte ich dieses Jahr schon ins Auge gefasst, kann aber auch nicht überall hin

Aber wenn die so weitermachen, könnte das für nächstes Jahr mal was werden.

We proudly present, the first announced show in almost 45 years with the 'pre-Mercyful Fate heavy rockers' BRATS, who will be playing a heavy set based on their '1980' album and later material on next summer's Metal Magic Festival -part XVII
