Wee Heavy - 9,2%
Collaboration with Metal Magic Festival

We wanted to brew something heavy in collaboration with the Heavy Metal festival Metal Magic, so naturally we brewed an interpretation of the historic Scottish beer style Wee Heavy.
Heavy knows heavy, heavy sees heavy, heavy drinks heavy.

The Wee Heavy is a strong malt-focused ale originating from Edinburgh.
Staggard is a full-bodied beast, with a sweet round complexity that is balanced by the gentle bitterness from Fuggle hops.
You get notes of toffee from the thickly layered malt bill without being it syrupy. It is a warming beer with a beautiful deep cooper to ruby colour.
All these elements lend to an equilibrium that makes this potent beast remarkably drinkable and a delight to behold.

The Scottish red deer thrives in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. In medieval hunting terms, a stag in its fourth year is called a "staggerd" or "staggard". Illustration hand drawn, as ever, by the talented Rune Bodker.

We will, once again, be running a Slowburn Bar, at Metal Magic Festival.

Here at Metal Magic we don't believe that a real metal festival should be plastered with all sorts of extraneous antics, here it is the concerts that are the main focus!

But there should of course be some carefully chosen entertainment for the times when the music is not playing.

1. The mighty NecrosHorns will once again work as the festival's house photographer and will also have a small exhibition with some of his many world famous photos and he will also be selling some limited edition prints. This will take place all days during the daytime near the Open Air Bar.

2. WEDNESDAY July 8. at 20.00, the Metal Magic Festival booker will play his own personal favorites for you from the DJ booth.
No rules, no excuses, no requests, no metalcore.

3. FRIDAY July 10. at 10-12 pm, DJ Sen-Sei will wake you up with glorious 80's/90's action. Think Bloodsport, Over The Top and what else makes the Kung-Fu warrior ready to fight again

4. SATURDAY July 11. The Blazing Eternity frontman, aka Dr. Mesnickow, will bring his famous Bingo show to Metal Magic Festival for the first time.. It's free to participate and the prizes will be the best and the worst this country has to offer!

5. Also a very very special surprise happening will take place on the Friday at 11.00 near the Open Air Bar... We simply can't wait to see your faces when it happens
