Many of you commented on the post from last night regarding the validity of these releases. We're glad to see some people are clearly supporting us in our endeavors here and we are also troubled to see so many people making accusations about AMM, particularly ANYONE stating that we're some how 'ripping people off'. We have never ripped a single person off, and we never will. We have a great reputation with our buyers, we fulfill our pre-orders (yes, there are quite a few of them currently - no one is putting a gun to anyones head saying "you must pre-order this item!") If you're not comfortable pre-ordering an item from us for any reason, then theres a real simple solution to your issue: Don't order one. No ones going to fault you if you're apprehensive because I, Noel Blaney - the owner of Ascension Monuments Media, choose to employ my dear friend, Blake Judd, who has a bad reputation with some folks because of mistakes he made in the past while struggling with a serious addiction issue (which he has since overcome, I see him literally every day of my life as do a couple other people who work for us that can attest to that FACT.) Blake has spent most of the last two years cleaning up his mess, paying people back with wages he's earned working his ass off for this company. He's been allowed to use the company paypal account to make these payments as well. Repayment to anyone / everyone - label or individual - was a term of his employment with us, and he's since done that to the best of his abilities. There may be a few people out there who've not been taken care of yet, but they're welcome to go to the Nachtmystium facebook page or contact him via his personal facebook account and I can assure you, he will take care of it - promptly. Anyone questioning this - go on over to the Nachtmystium facebook page and read the comments sections of a few of the bands posts over the last few months and you'll clearly see this is true. Someone on here asked the ridiculous question "Does Blake Judd have access to the pre-order money / AMM paypal account?' Yes, he absolutely does. As does Erica and Jean, our two other employees. They all have Paypal debit cards to pay for company expenses, such as postage, supplies, and production costs. He's had one longer than anyone other than me (over a year now) and we keep tight accounting, and I've never had as much as a dime missing. So - if you've got an issue with the fact he works here - again, simple solution: DON'T ORDER FROM US. Period. This subject is not up for discussion ever again, and if you want to leave a nasty comment on here about him or this company, you will be blocked and banned and your comment will be deleted. We are not going to let internet warriors sitting behind the safety of their computer screens bad-mouth someone who's worked their ass off to change their life, correct their wrong doings and work harder than anyone else I've ever known to take a shit situation of a life and turn it into something respectable and great. The entire AMM staff will tell you this and we're not going to let him (or anyone who works for us) be shit on all over our social media page. Simple solution is just don't order from us if you have that much of an issue with it. Your opinions on the matter beyond that, quite frankly, are irrelevant and you will not be validated with a response to any more comments regarding this subject. All these titles (the Judas Iscariot releases) are CO-RELEASES with Nuclear War Now! Productions - if you want them, you are welcome to buy them from Yosuke as opposed to us. One last thing - to anyone who's been around since the issues with Blake were making headlines 5-6 years ago (yeah, it's been that long), one of the people whom was leading the campaign to bring these wrong-doings to peoples attention was none other than Yosuke Konishi @ Nuclear War Now! Productions via his forum. Now - if the fact that he's now working hand-in-hand with Blake (who's handling the production of these J.I. releases in terms of dealing with the pressing plants, getting the art compiled for each release, ordering all the extra stuff for the box sets and deluxe versions of the albums, etc) should be all the evidence you need to see that something clearly has changed. You're talking about being concerned about a $25 record purchase.....Yosuke has gone in with us on this project (with Blake as his go-to at AMM for these records) with a cost exceeding $18,000 that he's trusting in AMM to handle. If thats not enough for you to get over whatever fears or personal disdain you may have about this individual working for us, then clearly nothing ever will. We don't want people who are going to hound us about this ordering from us, and we don't wish to deceive anyone about who works here and who doesn't. If it's an issue for you - DONT BUY FROM US. PERIOD.
Thanks to all who have gotten over this or didn't have an issue in the first place and understand that people make mistakes, sometimes they make them twice when struggling with something like opiate addiction, but also understand that no living, breathing human being with a desire to change and willing to work hard to do so, is beyond redemption. With that being said, we're proud to have this long-lasting member of the American black metal community on-board with us and we'll stand behind him publicly and privately ALWAYS until we have reason not to. It's been well over a year and we've expanded tremendously and continue to do so, and a lot of that we have him to thank for due to his extensive network of contacts in the underground.
