Once in a while there are albums turning up in our "musical universe" that absolutely turn everything around, and a delivery i received just a few minutes ago points to one of those albums.

I have to admit that back in the day it took a few months til i bought "Into The Mirror Black" but over the years it became just one of those central points in my musical history just as important as "Night Of The Stormrider", "No Exit", "Imaginations From The Other Side", "Operation: Mindcrime" and all the other pieces of art i enjoyed over the years.

People are saying the remastering of this one is supposed to be great and the included live album is killer, and just by the look of the "package" and the first listen they are right. Century Media and all the parties involved have done a good job with this worthy reissue.

"Past tense to future tense let history unfold
So ends a decade now what will the nineties hold
You know we're verging on the edge of an age
Then another century will turn the page"

That's the stuff timeless music is made of for sure, and another reminder of the fact that the best music ever was composed and issued between 1986 and 1998.
