Ja. Und ja. Kannst gerne zur billigen Variante, die damals auf Karmageddon erschienen ist, greifen. Sollte man sehr günstig bekommen. Irgendwann kommt von NWN nochmal ein fetteres Release. Neues Material ist in der Mache, ich frag mich allerdings, ob das nicht vielmehr eine Fortsetzung des After Death Materials wird.

Das Motiv ist obergrottig.
 
Hm, die drei Studio-Alben hab ich, müsst ich mir wohl auch mal wieder reinziehen,
hab grad ganz wenig Erinnerung an das Material..

Und jepp, das Bild ist ja wohl mal obergrauenvoll, erinnert mich by the way ganz leicht an den Roboter von "Captain Future" in hässlich....

Die Die-Hard müsste schon seit dem Sommer draussen sein, die kam doch zu der Show damals. Soweit ich mich erinnere, sollte aber auch noch eine reguläre Version kommen. Die Entwicklung von NWN, Platten auch mal so produzieren, dass sie längerfristig verfügbar sind (wie z.B. auch die Fallen Angel Of Doom) finde ich sehr erfreulich.

Die Demos brettern übrigens ordentlich. Gefallen mir an manchen Tagen sogar besser, als die Album-Versionen.

Er hat sogar schon zwei Auflagen davon gemacht. Jeweils eben Show-exklusiv. Da kommen halt noch CD-Version, reguläre LP und bestimmt nochmal ne "reguläre" Die Hard.
 
Den Thread erwühlt. Wollt den Jungs mal huldigen. Höre auch grade Threshholds, nach längerer Zeit wieder. Was eigentlich ne Schande ist. Weil die Platte ganz stark ist. Steht sie The Key in nix nach. Mikes Gesang auf dem Erstling war etwas diabolischer. Die Stimme von Dan dafür epischer.
Nocturns waren für mich immer eine der ganz großen frühen Earache Bands und trotz oder auch wegen der Keyboards nie! "Bubu-Musik". Auch Ethereal Tomb ist ein sehr gutes Album, ohne allerdings an dieses ganz besondere Feeling der Vorgänger heranzureichen. Der neue am Mic (vlt nen Ticken gewöhnlicher) so mein Eindruck, aber hier muss man auch nichts abtun. Es liegen halt ein paar Jahr zwischen Album zwei und drei.
Die Band hats nicht verdient, vergessen zu werden!

Ich hab die Band Mitte '91? kennengelernt. Konnte zu der Zeit mit Death Metal noch nicht wirklich was anfangen. Wollte noch Gesang statt gekotze. Aber rein musikalisch und was die an ihren Instrumenten getrieben haben ging mir das RICHTIG gut rein. Danach hab ich die Band völlig aus den Augen verloren. Aus den Augen, aus dem Sinn....!! Jedenfalls mach ich mich bei Gelegenheit mal auf die Suche nach den alten Alben. Sind hoffentlich nicht so teuer wie manch anderes aus den frühen 90ern heutzutage.
 
Hör grad "Thresholds" per Kopfhörer in der "Full Dynamic Range Edition" über die Bandcamp-Seite. Ob das jetzt auf diesem Weg so viel bringt mal dahingestellt, aber ich merke (mal wieder), daß das Album bei mir doch zu Unrecht immer bißl im Schatten von "The Key" steht. "Thresholds" ist schon etwas sperriger, die Keyboards, die "The Key" so unnachahmlich prägen, etwas dezenter, aber das Songwriting ist äußerst raffiniert, womit das Album nicht weniger faszinierend ist, als das Debüt von NOCTURNUS.

Ok you guys have been asking for a while, so here is an update and a couple stills from our teaser video that I am currently working on.
We have been working on a new Nocturnus AD full album that will contain 9 songs, we have 6 finished that we have been recording ourselves in demo form and only have a few more things to finish up on the recording and mixing and then we will have it Mastered and we will take several clips from those 6 songs and put out a 4 to 5 minute teaser video, so we will be releasing that in a few weeks. We have the music to 2 more songs finished as well, so we are very close to our goal of 9 songs for the debut album being ready. There are 4 songs that will connect and continue with The Key story (from Andromeda Strain to Empire of The Sands on The Key) and 1 song that continues with the timeline of Neolithic and there will be 1 song that will complete the Lake of Fire/ Standing in Blood trilogy as well and a couple other stand alone songs in the vein of the sci-fi/horror style that Nocturnus was known for. We have a few labels interested already and when we do decide which label the debut will be on, we will let everyone know and we will also have a very well produced video for at least one of our new songs, so any labels that are interested in contacting or signing us, that will be a requirement.
So that is a pretty well detailed update for everyone who is interested and here are a few stills from the new Nocturnus AD teaser video we are putting together! (The final video will have much more, this is only where I am at working on it).

I just want to say that I saw our keyboard player Nocturnal Infiernos post late last night and made a comment and then this morning it had been shared and a lot of people are pissed off and rightly so.
First I want to say that NO ONE else in the band agrees with or has these types of opinions or posts on their personal pages and it is not any opinion of the band itself. I have kept Nocturnus AD out of politics and things of a sexual nature and there are a lot of bands that actually write about this stuff, but I have kept Nocturnus AD to a sci-fi occult horror theme which has nothing to do with the issues of today.
Second, I have had these problems with our keyboard player before and already told him not to post things like this because it will make the band look bad. We as a band are talking over the situation as it just only happened, I will state this as a fact, that it will NOT happen again or he will be fired, as of right now we need to wait till we can have a proper band meeting with everyone and get to the real problem. I have heard that he has apologized, but I don't frequent his page because I don't read his posts usually and haven't had much of a chance because I also have a personal life as well. But let me repeat again, as a band and personally we do not condone what he did and this will not keep happening.

Ok here it is as promised, the new DEMO Version of a new song called Aeon of The Ancient Ones, the song is 1 of 4 that continue with The Key story. Of the 9 new songs that will be on our debut album, 4 will continue with The Key story, also the Lake of Fire /Standing in Blood Trilogy will be completed with a new song called Seizing The Throne and the Neolithic story will be continued with Paleolithic. So there are plenty more new songs if you like this one.
The idea with Nocturnus AD is not to compete with Nocturnus, but continue with my original vision of continuing with The Key story and several other songs, which of course did not happen, so now it will with Nocturnus AD!
The song was recorded by ourselves, with Demian Heftel handling the mixing and mastering and both of us Produced it. The video is only a teaser for what is to come, so it is not the actual album, but a good representation of what we are doing and it is being released so that both labels and the people can get a good idea of what our album will be like.
It is best viewed in HD with headphones, so enjoy the first ever released recording of Nocturnus AD!
