Ich frag mich immer wie solche Typen ihre Einflüsse rechtfertigen, genau wie die ganzen Porno-Kiddies.

Ist mir ebenfalls unverständlich. Ich denke, dass es ähnlich bei wie Anal Cunt anfangs aus reiner Provokation passierte. Ist für mich aber auch sinnentstellend, wenn man provoziert (oder ,,extrem'' wirken will), nur um provozieren zu wollen. Wenn noch die dementsprechende Hörerschaft auf den Zug aufspringt, selber anfängt ,,Noise'' zu spielen und es in eine rechte Richtung politisiert, dann hat man so einen Dreck wie bspw. Intolitarian.

CRAWL NOISE were a terrorizing Swiss unit that decimated eardrums in that late 80’s phase (1987 to 1989) when Grindcore was starting to spread all around and some maniacs tried to push the genre to even fiercer extremes, giving birth to the whole short-song Noisecore saga of bands like 7 MINUTES OF NAUSEA, ANAL CUNT, VIOLENT NOISE ATTACK, STENCH OF CORPSE, SOUND POLLUTION, TUMOR and so on. CRAWL NOISE were clearly inspired by early NAPALM DEATH and SORE THROAT, but they pushed the level of madness and brutality to way more devastating boundaries. And their drummer Osi was then called to join the mighty FEAR OF GOD, so try to imagine how fast he was. As Erich Keller states: “After I saw Crawl Noise live, I tried everything to steal the drummer Osi for my own band Fear Of God.” This LP includes all their existing recordings: the first demo “Musical rape” (1988), their Demo #2 (1989) and two complete live sets from 1987 to 1988 (one was included on the B-side of their only 7″ and the other in some killer compilation tapes like “Rudi Rat 1” and SOA’s “Use your anger“).

Finde die Email gerade nicht mehr, aber Steffen schrieb mir, dass er von FOAD keine Farbigen/Die Hards mehr ranholen wird. Das war ca. zum Release der Insect Warfare. So war es dann bei dem Set und bei der Siege auch. Früher gab es, ja. Habe selbst einige davon dort geholt. Am Ende ist es aber bei FOAD nicht so wichtig, da kein musikalischer Mehrwert dabei.

Ah okay. Verständlich, die Crawl Noise steht als dirty swirl beim Steffen auch immer noch rum..

Bin eigentlich überhaupt kein colored vinyl adorer. Ausgerechnet bei FOAD hab ich da immer die Farbigen erwischt.
Nun solls so sein. Außerdem sind FOAD ja auch latent besessen mit sonder farbzeugs extrawürsten.. da hat ers wohl geschafft mich anzufixen.
