Post Metal und Post Hardcore

Ich pack The Atlas Moth mal hier rein. Metalsucks-Hypes sind i.d.R. ja eher ein Grund, etwas nicht zu hören. Ich hab's tatsächlich nur wegen des Namens angetestet. Eigentlich sehr generische und weder besonders eigenständige noch originelle Mischung aus Sludge, Doom und Post Metal, sehr harmlos, kaum sperrig, eher poppig, vielleicht was für Fans der letzten beiden Gojira-Platten (die mich zu Tode langweilen). Falls jemand trotz der abturnenden Beschreibung noch weiter liest: Irgendwie gefällt mir das Album trotzdem. Bei der Langzeitwirkung bin ich mehr als skeptisch, aber aktuell läuft "Coma Noir" täglich mindestens einmal. Vor allem zum Radfahren geeignet. Ach, keine Ahnung. Manchmal ist Musik komisch.

Charity Aktion, die Bandcamp Einnahmen werden gespendet. Großartiges Album btw, passt aber stilistisch überhaupt nicht mehr hier her.
 
Amenra. Nach unzähligen langweiligen Shows und einer unsäglichen Mass V, habe ich mich nun doch von Mass VI mitreißen lassen. Sehr gutes Album, wirklich. Mehr Ambient und das nächste wird wieder ein Knaller. Deswegen werde ich sie mir mal demnächst auch wieder anschauen müssen. Zweite Chancen sind toll!
 
Weiß nicht so richtig, wo ich das japanische Trio Ling Tosite Sigure einordnen soll. Wahnsinniger Mischmasch aus Post-Hardcore, Progressive Rock, Indie und Shoegazing. #5 ist schon jetzt ein AOTY-Kandidat.
 
Hatte sie zuvor in den "(Post) Black Metal, vielleicht sogar links, gutmenschlich und anarchistisch..."--Thread gepackt, aber hier passen sie ohne Zweifel besser hin. Der BM-Anteil ist wirklich sehr gering.
