The date has been set for the release of our second album.
On Friday 13th of April we will play 'The Cauldron and The Cross' in its entirety for what will more than likely be the only time ever.
It'll be an absolute pleasure to see you all there to watch us sweat away while we play the new material live for the first time.
We'll have more news in regards to our second album coming soon. For now, you must merely dream of the twin-guitar harmonies that are being conjured beyond the mists of Avalon!

Recorded at the end of last year at Knight Time Studios in London, with stunning cover artwork by SImon Parr, the track listing is as follows:

3. Once and Future King (4.31)
4. Parting the Mists (4.26)
5. Turning of the Tide (5.14)
6. Oathbreaker (4.19)
7. A Land in Darkness (5.57)

Schlechte Planung des Labels in meinen Augen:
"We've been contacted by quite a few people the last few days who wanted to know whether The Cauldron and the Cross will be released on vinyl.
The answer is yes, but not until a couple of months after the CD release. It will, though, be an awesome double gatefold vinyl issued by Back On Black Records, so we reckon it'll be worth the wait..."

Ja, da ich mir nicht - wie wahrscheinlich gewünscht - beides bzw. die CD als Übergangslösung holen werde, muss ich wohl eine lange Durststrecke überstehen oder mir das Album in der Wartezeit gegebenenfalls ab und an über die Tube reinziehen. Ich finde sowas voll doof.

Kommt ja aufgrund der Engepässe in den Presswerken öfters vor...
Das Debüt hat mich echt umgehauen, von daher bin ich natürlich auch gespannt. Leider gibt es nur selten Newcomer, die nach einem starken ersten Album, ein besseres / genauso gutes zweites Album hinlegen.

finde ich auch....ich glaube, dass sich sowas auch auf die Verkaufszahlen auswirkt. Bei mir kam es schon öfters vor, dass ich dann ein Album über bandcamp oder youtube so oft gehört habe, dass ich dann das Vinyl letztendlich auch nicht kaufte, da ich mich beim Release bereits satt gehört hatte.

Klar gibt's seit geraumer Zeit mal Probleme aufgrund der Auslastung. Aber wenn man so einen komplett undefinierten Zeitraum (a couple of months after the CD release) angibt, dann wurde von Anfang an nicht richtig geplant. Zumal die CD noch nichtmal draußen ist.
Oder man hat sich erst zu spät mit dem Label vertraglich geeinigt und das Label will nun aber zeitnah das Album veröffentlichen. Somit auch Zeitschiene futsch.
