Sothoris was founded in 2016 by bassist Lord Ghash and guitarist Sharghall.
In 2023-2024, the band began working on a new album.
They also performed at several concerts as support for Sceptic and Polish Arkona, as well as opening for Patriarkh's “Nowy Wierszalin Tour” to promote their highly acclaimed new album “Prorok Ilja” (Napalm Records, 2025).
The band has now completed work on their third studio album, entitled “Domus Omnium Mortuorum.” Sothoris' music is (as the musicians themselves describe it) “a mixture of the wildness of black metal and the power of death metal,” while the lyrics are a study of human malice.
