Ich würde nicht sagen, man kann den Film dann nicht mehr gucken. Aber der ersten Sichtung, wird genauso wie allen folgenden ein entscheidendes Stück an Qualität genommen. Die Begeisterung beim ersten gucken, wird auf jede Wiederholung übertragen. Das fällt eben einfach weg, wenn es einem gespoilert wurde. Das ist ein bisschen wie Sex-Rückwärts. Das kann auch so jede Menge Spaß machen, aber die Luft ist schon irgendwie raus... Das passt jetzt zugegeben nicht mehr ganz auf die Wiederholungen, aber es sollte klar sein, wie es gemeint ist!
Was ich deshalb eben auch gut verstehen könnte, ist wenn man dann zumindest nicht mehr ins Kino möchte. Und auch wenn der Film natürlich nicht wirklich "verloren" ist, so ist eben doch das Erlebnis weg, dass er nur bei der Erst-Sichtung bringen kann. Das setzt sich eben aus dem "Wie" und dem "Was" zusammen.

Wobei ich die Darstellung der jungen Uhura ja immer noch lächerlich finde: Zoe Saldana (ich weiß, falsch geschrieben, meine Tastatur verweigert sich Cedillos) beim ersten Dreh in dieser Rolle könnte die Mutter von Nichelle Nichols zu gleichen Zeit sein (gut, Mrs Saldana müsste eine Teeniemutter gewesen sein, aber so etwas soll es ja auch geben...) - ich mag beide Schauspielerinnen sehr, damit kein falscher Eindruck entsteht. Und die Rolle gefällt mir sowieso, sie hat dem Afrofuturismus den Weg geebnet.
Und alleine deshalb werde ich mir den wohl nicht im Kino anschauen. Auch den letzten ST habe ich mir nicht angeschaut: ich bin keine Cumberbitch! (darf ich als eingefleischter Martin-Freeman-Fan ja auch gar nicht sein...)
Dabei fällt mir gerade auf, dass ich den 2001/2010 auch noch nie auf Leinwand gesehen habe. Kulturbanause, ich! *schäm*

Jar Jar is recast as an everyman caught up in events outside his control who does his part in the fight for freedom, rather than a traitorous clown.
By stripping away extraneous tangents and bolstering attention to character development, this edit seeks to improve the original film. The original trilogy is regarded as the template toward which the prequels strive. The prequels are made to submit to the continuity and drive of the originals to the degree possible.
The following three goals are held in balance.

Hatte ich auch überlegt, aber bei einem knapp 1500€ teuren Modell, welches angeblich eine 1:1 Kopie des 5footer aus ESB ist, waren mir da noch zu viele Fehler dran, die von der Fa nicht korrigiert wurden.

Ich nehme es mir mal die Frechheit raus und behaupte, dass der Millennium Falcon ebeno geil ist wie die Enterprise NCC 1701-D. Die beiden Schiffe geben sich vom Design her aber wirklich nix.
(wobei man allerdings sagen muss, dass der Falcon schon eher der Vostellung eines zukünftigen Schiffes sehr viel näher kommt. Alleine schon die Unterkünfte in der Peripherie unterzubringen, zeugt von höchstem Sachverstand.)
Und bevor jetzt wieder einer um die Ecke geekt: JAHAA, der Falcon ist ein Transporter, und JAHAA, die Entensteiß ist ein Forschungsschiff.

Der Impact beider Franchises auf die heutige Forschung unterscheidet ich aber schon extrem.
Da ich eher der Hard-SF-Fan bin, geht meine Präferenz eindeutig in die andere Richtung. Was nicht heißt, dass ich das Weltraummärchen nicht mag, es ist eine filmisch gut umgesetzte Space Opera. Gut gegen Böse, quer durch - in einem exakten Winkel von 45° - ein Familiendrama, Menschen/Außerirdische/Roboter, Witz und Ironie auf der einen Seite wie staatsphilosophische Abhandlungen auf der Anderen - das bietet in dieser Mischung nur Star Wars.
Ich kann verstehen, warum man SW "lieber" mag. Mitmachen muss ich nicht.

Vieles ist auch einfach nur sinnentleerter Technobabble. Spätestens unter Jean-Luc Picard werden allerdings auch philosophische Themen angesprochen (ab welchem Zeitpunkt ist eine Maschine ein Lebewesen, "Wem gehört Data" / die gesamten Gesellschaftskonstrukte in der Föderation und Außerhalb). Mir geht auch ENT komplett ab. Ich kann mit der unter Verwendung modernster Materialien auf "alt" getrimmten Enterprise nichts anfangen, ohne dass ich vor Fremdscham laut auflachen muss.
Ich entdecke eine Gemensamkeit.
Wie ich schon sagte, als fast schon optimale Weltraumoper will ich sie mir nicht mehr aus der Filmgeschichte wegdenken. Es sind halt zwei unterschiedliche Konzeptionen: Star Trek funktioniert als Serie gut (aber auch nicht einen Deut besser), als Film nur selten ("Das unentdeckte Land" ist da wohl die Ausnahme, alle anderen Filme stinken dagegen gewaltig ab).
Star Wars als Serie würde gar nicht funktionieren, da die Handlungsstränge viel zu kompliziert sind, um sie in 45-Minuten-Shows zu verhackstücken. Es wäre lächerlich bis langweilig! (was SW als reines Kinofranchise wiederum ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal zukommen lässt. Star Wars funktioniert einfach prächtig, genau so, wie es existiert.) Zumindest bei Star Wars IV - VI ist das Hirn aufgefordert, mitzudenken. Und diese Filme lohnen sich, auch ein zweites oder dritte Mal gesehen zu werden.
In den Star-Trek-Filmen existiert außerhalb der Gags gediegene Langeweile. Die Raumkämpfe kannst Du an einer Hand abzählen und sind nach dem zweiten Mal dröge.
Der Gipfel der Geschmacklosigkeit war erreicht, als man den Borg eine Königin vorgesetzt/aufoktroyiert/hingepfropft hat. Das war so eine Anbiederung an John und Jane Doe, die sich keine selbstorganisierende Staatform vorstellen können. Dass Alice Krige sich für so einen Scheiß hingegeben hat - na ja, die Miete muß auch bezahlt werden.
