it's about time to make a decision.
after a chat with the venue, and rethinking everything i cancel the Vendetta Fest...
I know many are starting to plan shows for September, October… But i feel strange about it.
For different reasons, first, i think this is a serious disease and i don't want people to get infected during the fest. I see why people want to return to things being "normal", but for those infected, or those losing someone towards this nothing will feel normal for a long time.
And, with the current restrictions about shows it would feel strange, very strange, and not like the fest is supposed to be. Plus, the venue and i agreed on the fact that we don't want to set up shows under these restrictions/circumstances.
I hope you understand.
I already got asked if i need some support because of this, actually no, until now i didn't spend a single cent on it, so i don't lose any...
but, if you want to support someone, please support the bands, i think some of you wanted to buy some merch at the fest, maybe you could order some instead, here are the band's bandcamp pages:
