At last, we have some news on ticket sales! For
Ascension MMXXI
, we will be handling ticket sales directly, and not using a third party vendor as we have in previous years.
On Tuesday September 1st, at 10:00AM GMT, we shall provide an email address where ticket requests must be sent. Upon receiving the information requested below, we will provide you with the necessary details required to complete payment via bank transfer. Having made your request, we will reserve your ticket for 48 hours, during which time proof of payment must be provided. As always, first come, first served.
You will be asked to provide the following information for ALL individuals you are purchasing for;
Full name, date of birth, address, email address, phone number and social security number (Icelanders only).
- Full Festival passes (4 days) are €185. A limited amount of single day passes will be made available at a later date.
- The maximum amount of tickets that can be purchased is 5 per person.
- The age restriction is 20 years and over.
- Those who retained their Tix passes from our postponed 2020 edition, your passes are fully valid for all 4 days!
Icelanders take note! Due to constant fluctuations in the ISK/EUR exchange rate at the moment, we are offering Icelanders a special fixed price 4-day festival pass for 24,900kr (Icelandic kt. number mandatory).
- Information on busses and camping will follow at a later date.
For those curious, the reason we have chosen this method of payment over using a conventional vendor is simple; with the current situation being what it is, no Icelandic vendors will provide advances on ticket sales, which in turn makes it impossible for a festival of our size to function, as all accommodation, flights and often fees need to be paid prior to the festival taking place. So while we understand this method is less convenient, it is wholly necessary for the future of Ascension. Our thanks in advance for your understanding and as always, your support!
