War Chapelle ardente das letzte? Es stimmt schon was oben steht, nicht mega aufregend, aber ich höre das und La Vierge noire schon gerne, ich mag den warmen Sound, Annicks Stimme und die Kopfnicker Richtung Pagan Altar. "La valee des rois" (oder so ähnlich, keinen Bock zu googlen) war jedenfalls mein Favorit von der brennenden Kapelle.

Das Album ist schon sehr weit draußen gegenüber dem üblichen 08/15-Metalkram. So richtig verstanden habe ich "Rosa Mystica" eigentlich auch nicht, aber es strahlt auf mich eine eigentümliche Faszination aus, so daß ich es trotzdem öfter gehört und dann als Platte bestellt habe. Tja, machmal muß man Musik vielleicht auch nicht verstehen, sondern einfach mal wirken lassen.
Saugute Scheibe! Spannende Songs, toller, gekonnter, nicht zu aufdringlicher Gesang, authentischer, lebendiger Sound. Ein bisschen weniger Doom als auf den letzten Scheiben, aber das steht ihnen, finde ich, auch sehr gut.

Höre die neue Scheibe grad zum ersten Mal und bin sehr angetan. Tolle Songs! Etwas rockiger und weniger doomig. Aber das funktioniert, wie @GordonOverkill schrub, sehr gut.

Ich weiß nicht genau, wo es am besten aufgehoben ist, aber da das hier der Thread mit dem wohl größten Annick-Bezug ist, packe ich die nicht so schöne Nachricht mal hier rein:
All good things must come to an end. It is with a heavy heart and a lot of sadness that we must announce that Temple of Mystery Records is closing down its doors.
The idea to start a label was ignited in 2011, when François and Annick (myself) were traveling the world. Later on that year, we visited a Taoist temple in the picturesque town of Suzhou, China called Temple of Mystery (Xuanmiao) and decided it would be a perfect name for our label… a temple holding mysterious metal secrets! Our very first release was our band Cauchemar’s first full-length album, Tenebrario, on cassette in 2013, which was followed by Night Gaunt’s Jupiter’s Fall as a 7inch vinyl. The rest is history!
We are absolutely proud of every single release we did during our short life, and especially delighted to see bands grow into what they are today.
We want to especially thank our dear friends in Pagan Altar, who trusted us to release their 2017 album ‘The Room of Shadows’, which put us on the map and enabled us to release many amazing albums (among them gorgeous reissues of their entire discography!)
Despite our efforts of having our new releases available in a warehouse in Europe, and trying to keep our prices as low as possible, we are facing major challenges which are getting impossible to deal with as a small (hobby) label located in Canada. We had to take the heartbreaking decision to gracefully pull-out and close our doors.
Hundreds of you have supported us over the years, and distributed our records; we want to thank you so much for your encouragement. We are very sorry to let you down, and especially all the artists that were hoping to one day, have an album on our label. I hope someone new will take over the reins in Canada, and will bring fresh blood to this extremely active scene!!
We will be having a large sale starting this Friday, September 22nd. The temple will be closing its doors completely before the end of the year. If you have a large label/distro that is interested to buy the rest of our stock (or some part of it), please get in touch with us, we will offer a very good deal. Thank you a million times for your support throughout the years, Annick & François
