Interview STRIKER (Dan Cleary) 2022 - We are easy to please

Striker from Canada are around since quite a while already. On their recent stint to Europe, we made sure not to let Dan escape without talking to us in the heat of the Baden in Blut Metal Open Air in Germany. Among other things, we spoke about long drives to gig, cover artwork, playing live and Dan explained if they are easy to please or not. And what was that stuff about virgin sacrifices, by the way? Interview THEOTOXIN (German) (Flo & Ragnar) 2022 - Energie, Rauheit und Härte.

Das neueste Fragment von Theotoxin hat es uns so dermaßen angetan, dass wir uns Flo und Ragnar vors Mikro holen mussten. Aufgrund widriger Umstände hat es dafür zwar insgesamt drei Anläufe gebraucht, aber gut Ding will bekanntlich Weile haben. Gelohnt hat es sich allemal. Unser Gespräch klapperte nicht nur Allgemeinplätze ab, sondern tauchte auch tief in die Grundmotivationen und Absichten der Protagonisten ein.

Interview DEATH (Chuck Schuldiner) 1998 - My lyrics are an open book

A couple of days after the performance at the Dynamo Open Air 1998 (released as a live video), Death played the Hyde Park in Osnabrück on June 3rd. Interview SACROSCUM (German) (S.S. & J.) 2022 - Memmingen sozial?

Wer einmal im akustischen D-Beat Schweinestall von Sacroscum so richtig durchgenommen wurde, geht ab diesem Zeitpunkt anders durch Leben. Von diesem räudigen Mix aus Black Metal und Aso-Punk kommt man nämlich nicht so einfach wieder los. Das kann dann auch schon mal in einer gewissen Penetranz resultieren, die tatsächlich auch nötig ist, um die Herren S.S. und J. vor das Mikro zu bekommen. Zumindest zu zweit... Den eigenen Sack voller Flöhe zu hüten ist dagegen ein Kinderspiel.

Interview BLASPHEMER (Clod & Simone) 2022 - Metal is a malediction!

Anti-religious Death Metal, relentless and uncompromising. A short description that suits BLASPHEMER from Italy. The blokes embarked to Germany to destroy the lovely town of Hirschaid by playing the fabulous Braincrusher in Hell Festival. After the performance left us rather speechless due to its intensity, we sure as hell had to talk to them. So here we go with a short conversation held in their locker room. Als Aushängeschild des authentischen Death Metals konnten wir die Schweizer DEATHCULT vor Kurzem für eine Gespräch gewinnen. Interview FEACES CHRIST (German) (Dušan) 2022 - Wir neigen zu Übertreibung!

"Wir spielen Tonfolgen, die überhaupt keinen Sinn machen." ist sicherlich ein Zitat, das auf die zügellose Herangehensweise des Regenburger Dreiers Feaces Christ passend verweist. Nach zwei Demos steht seit einige Zeit das Debut zum Abgreifen bereit und eignet sich bestens, auch mal gut gelaunt in den eigenen vier Wänden auszurasten, die Mülleimer umzutreten und die Sofakissen zu zerreissen. Ihr wisst, was wir meinen. Neben all der Katharsis stechen die lyrischen Zuspitzungen hervor, die durchaus ernst eingeordnet werden können. Dušan klärt auf.
