Ist ja noch hin, vlt wird es noch was, Anfang März wurden noch Konvent und Urfaust bestätigt.

Edit: Da Belgien anscheinend auch bis Ende August alle Großveranstaltungen streicht sehe ich inzwischen schwarz.

Und als hätte ich es heraufbeschworen, verschoben auf August 2021:

Hi,

The Belgian government in its fight against the spread of the virus has just announced new measures.
One of them has a direct impact on our festival, since there will be no mass gatherings In Belgium until 31 August 2020.

Needless to say that we are the first ones to be disappointed, but we can already announce you that the sixteenth (and last) edition of the Méan festival will take place in August 2021.
Please give us a few days to find answers to the questions you will certainly have (we know a lot of them and we are already working on finding answers).

We will do our best to include as many bands possible from our 2020 line-up

We are also in contact with the two ticketing companies.
Thank you for giving us a few days and be sure that we'll come back to you with a first lot of answers.

Tickets for this postponed 2020 edition are, of course, valid for next year. Refund is also possible (please contact Fnac or Eventbrite - deadline is 15/05/2020).
We are currently negociating with the bands to make sure they're able to perform next year. We will announce the first bunch of confirmed acts within 48 hours. Thanx for your ovewhelming support and stay safe!

2021 fand statt und war genial. Unten ein link zum Festivalbericht, hab auch die Geschichte des Ganzen etwas mehr beleuchtet, da es wirklich eine versteckte Perle an Festival war... extremmetallisch war wirklich fast alles da, was Rang & Namen hat.

Und: es wird sogar noch ein "allerletztes" Metal Méan 2022 geben, als erste Band wurde DARK ANGEL gestern bestaetigt!
