Ne, dauert noch. Aber ist jetzt keine Seltenheit, dass die NWN-Miniauflagen nicht an die Standards normaler VÖs rankommen. War bei der Rites Of Thy Remulade Compi-LP genauso.

Darauf freue ich mich! D&Q haben sich arg gesteigert seit "Hail Infernal Darkness" und das letzte Album - textlich nicht ganz ein Volltreffer - ist ein Monstrum.
Zum Glück hat sich die Band nicht nur musikalisch ständig weiterentwickelt, sondern auch optisch.

From the wastelands of New Jersey, Siege Column rears its ugly head to unleash its debut album, “Inferno Deathpassion.” With these nine death marches that blur the established norms that seek to categorize metal into various subgenres, Siege Column spits in the face of such conventional tendencies and instead harkens back to the days of yore when metal was defined more essentially by primal traits such as speed and ferocity. Whereas this horde’s preceding two demos served to sharpen the knives in its attack arsenal, “Inferno Deathpassion” represents the first offensive in an all-out assault that promises to raze any and all obstacles that lay in its path, be it willingly or otherwise.

Die beiden Tapes waren supi! EDIT: Und das Album ises auch!
Ganz fantastische Scheibe. Vom Abomination/Master/Death Strike-Sound sind sie etwas abgerückt. Musikalisch gibt es auch Einflüsse von Repulsion, Carcass, Hellhammer, Carnivore und Sodom und irgendwie haben die stumpfen Höhepunkte für mich das Feeling von Pre-Drumcomputer-Mortician. Sehr fein, aber Obacht: Neanderthal.
