David Gilmour - Neues Album 2015

David Gilmour has announced that he will perform live in the UK and Europe in September 2015 to coincide with the release of his, as yet untitled, fourth solo studio album. Tickets go on sale for all venues, detailed below, at 10:00am GMT on Friday 6 March 2015.

Kicking off at the historic Roman amphitheatre – Arena Pula, Croatia on 12 September, the tour will continue through some of the world’s most beautiful cities and venues. It then visits Verona’s amphitheatre, the Verona Arena 14 September and the Teatro Le Mulina in Florence, Italy on September 15. Moving to France it continues on 17 September in Orange at the Roman amphitheatre Theatre Antique d’Orange, before Germany’s Oberhausen Konig-Pilsener-Arena on 19 September and finally three consecutive nights at London’s world famous Royal Albert Hall on 23, 24 and 25 September.

Er ist halt nicht PINK FLOYD...

Habe von ihm nur ein Livealbum, wo er eher Sachen von PF gespielt hat. Ansonsten lässt mich sein Solomaterial ziemlich kalt. Lieblingsband hin oder her.

Sehe ich ähnlich wie Bongripper, David Gilmour Solo reizt mich keineswegs, sowohl was die Alben als auch was die Live Auftritte angeht. Da würde ich Roger Waters mit seiner The Wall Show klar den Vorzug geben.

Pink Floyd selber waren und sind natürlich göttlich und werden auch immer eine meiner All Time Faves bleiben, aber David Gilmour Solo muss ich nun nicht haben. Ich hatte das große Glück, Pink Floyd während ihrer 88er Tournee im Niedersachsenstadion in Hannover zu bewundern, das war einfach nur Grandios. Das war am 25. Juni 1988 und die Karte kostete im Vorverkauf 46 DM !!!!!!!!!!!!

Also ich höre dass Solo Debüt (1978?) Immer wieder Mal gerne. Letztens habe ich mir dann die "On an Island" angehört und für gut befunden. Sonst gibt es ja noch ein Solo-Album aus den 80ern und "Rattle that Lock", da blieb bei mir nicht viel hängen, werde ich aber irgendwann nochmal probieren. Am nächsten an Pink Floyd dürfte OaI sein.
