Ich habe das gute Stück (LP) bei Hell's Headbangers geordert - zu fairen Konditionen, wie ich finde. Kam auch schnell aus Übersee an. Die Scheibe ist wirklich ehrlich und gut. Ganz nah an Repulsion und verdammt gut produziert = roh und naturbelassen. Schön ist auch die ganze Verpackung. Finde ich auch stärker als die Condor-Split, wenn die auch nicht wirklich schwach ist.

Im aktuellen Chips & Beer ist ein kurzes, aber sehr unterhaltsames Interview mit den beiden drin. Die Highlights:

Are Childs and MacReady both human at the end of The Thing? [...] The lesson to learn from that movie must be to trust Norwegians! If they hadn't killed the Norwegian in the beginning and let him kill the dog, none of the shit would have happened. And it would have been a really short movie.

Jahre später hab ich mir das Album jetzt endlich auch mal gekauft (die CD-Version gibt's derzeit bei HRR für 4,99). Bockt total, und außerdem haben die Songs genau die richtige Laufzeit (fast alles unter zweieinhalb Minuten) für solche Musik. Gibt's die Band eigentlich noch?

Meinst du, weil Christoffer derzeit mit den Arbeiten am seit geraumer Zeit angekündigten Black Magic-Album eingespannt ist? Das würde ich als Entschuldigung sogar ausnahmsweise gelten lassen...

Okay, da fehlen mir wohl Insider-Infos.

Ich wäre zumindest schon beruhigt, wenn ich wüsste, dass die Jungs sich das Aufnahmestudio schon einmal von innen angesehen haben. Bislang hatte ich zwischen den Zeilen herausgehört, dass Jon als wohl nicht ganz so einfacher Charakter der Hemmschuh bei Black Magic ist.
