Concerning Church Within Records,

Due to some circumstances lately and in the past we want to put out this statement.
As a band and music fan ourself we feel very sorry for all that inconvenience a lot of people had to deal with our former label The Church Within Records. We received so many messages of not delivered orders. When people tried to get in touch with the Label they received no responce.
We talked to The Label so often but nothing changed.
That was a big part of the idea to work with a different Label and creating
our own. Very annoying for us as a new band on the radar.
We are working on getting our bandcamp shop filled with nice goodies, CDs, Vinyl, etc. . .
Sorry for all that inconvenience in the past.

We are very grateful for what Oli and The Church Within have done for Thronehammer overall, but when you are getting messages from people saying they are having issues receiving orders from the label you have to address things, in the past 24 hours alone we knew of two people who hadn't received what they ordered and that dosen't look good on the band, hence why we felt this statement on the bandpage was necessary.

We wish Oli the best of luck with his label but the reality and fact is that if there had of not been so many issues with orders not turning up or being delayed by months then we wouldn't have decided to part with the label because the label did a great job with the physical releases of our debut album and the first tour we did with Lord Vicar was very well organised and ran smoothly.

But as it currently stands even my bandmates can't get a response from the label boss after telling him of our decision to part ways with The Church Within, there has been no attempt to keep us on the label and to improve things for a follow up release, so we had no choice but to find another label to work with who we know are reliable with mailing out orders whilst delivering a professional service and product and to also take some things directly into our own hands regarding future band merch and also the CD version of our 2nd album.

Not being ungrateful to our former label, just realistic. As a band you DO NOT want a reputation for delayed/missing orders etc and don't want people sending messages complaining about delayed/unfulfilled orders.

We are still a new and upcoming band and have worked hard to get where we are now and need to make it VERY clear that the issue with delayed/missing orders is NOT our fault.

Ich hatte mit Oli schon mal das Problem und musste den Paypal-Käuferschutz einschalten.
Bekam dann von ihm aber eine sehr lange Mail mit einer Erklärung, die ich hier aus Gründen der Vertraulichkeit nicht wiedergeben möchte, die aber für mich alles geklärt hat.

Bei The Church Within zu bestellen kann ich wirklich keinem empfehlen. Das letzte Mal habe ich dort 2019 zwei Artikel bestellt, die auf Lager waren. Bis ich beide Artikel hatte, ist tatsächlich ein Monat vergangen und wenn ich auf den Typen keinen Druck ausgeübt hätte, dann würde ich wahrscheinlich immer noch warten. Zum allem Überfluß bin ich noch mit irgendwelchen hanebüchenen Ausreden abgespeist worden, die meine Wut nur noch gesteigert haben. Ich war kurz davor ihn persönlich zu besuchen, um mein Geld abzuholen. Ich kenn ihn ja noch von früher, als er gerade mit seinem Mailorder anfing und über die Jahre hinweg hatte ich mit ihm auch oft gute Erfahrungen gemacht in Bezug auf Promo-Bemusterung etc. Aber seinen Mailorder sollte er echt an den Nagel hängen. Völlig katastrophal. Nun gut, mittlerweile ist das alles Schnee von gestern, aber bestellen werde ich dort nie wieder, selbst wenn "Mr.Doom-Dealer" (*lach*) seinen Kram für EUR 1 verramscht.

Eigentlich hätte das besser in den Mailorder-Thread gepasst, aber die Gelegenheit war gerade gut, um das hier loszuwerden.
