Ich finde es sehr schade, denn wie du geschrieben hast, er hat sehr gut gepasst.

Hey everyone!
Some of you might have seen already that Daniel has left CBP.
It’s for the right reasons for him, Daniel felt stressed and unhappy, and as a friend, I and the rest of the gang wouldn’t want him to carry on under those circumstances.
It’s a shame but I respect his decision.
We wish Daniel all the best, all our heartfelt respect as ever. I always said he was THE singer guy for CBP..
In a spooky coincidence, Synth player Mark has also gone on to other things in life, other music projects and getting married. That’s awesome for him.. A very modest man who will like Daniel be missed by all of us.
Everyone plays their part in CBP and makes it what it is, Dan and Mark were long-standing members and totally understand the mission and music, both giving us all some most excellent moments on stage and on recordings.
CBP and the adventure continues, evolving and moving in the usual-unusual subversive way.. It’s not the end, just a new chapter in the long history of this band.
CBP may change its fur but not it’s nature.

Neues Doppel-Live-Album von CBP von 2012 (KScope); 2xCD wie gehabt zum Sonderpreis. Die Band meint, es wäre ein Bootleg, und fordert Fans auf, das Album zu boykottieren. Sie stellt die Aufnahmen kostenlos auf Bandcamp zur Verfügung: https://riseupandfight.bandcamp.com/album/live-in-bern-2012-a-d 2012 waren CBP auf dem noch andauernden Höhepunkt als Live-Band. Absolut magnificent, auch wenn Volk dann da nicht mehr dabei war! Es singt Matthew Simpkin.
Live in Poznan soll aber tatsächlich nochmal als Vinyl erscheinen - mit kompletter Tracklist (die CD-Version lies "Burnt Reynolds" missen). Eine neue MLP via Season of Gülle vor Sommer noch.

Danke für den Hinweis! Komische Nummer. Auch wenn ich von CBP eigentlich alles als physisches Release kaufe, hab ich hier mal nur bei Bandcamp gespendet.
Schade um Burnt Reynolds, vor ein paar Wochen erst die CD nachgekauft...naja.

Die kommende CD-Version soll wohl komplett sein. Burnt Reynolds gab es damals deswegen von der Band als kostenlosen Download. Hab ich noch, falls Du willst.
Ich hoffe, die LP-Version wird tatsächlich komplett, wenn jetzt schon die Bern-LP gekürzt ist.

Joe Volk hat vor ein paar Tagen ein neues Album namens "Primitive Energetics" via Glitterhouse veröffentlicht. Das letzte Album von ihm fand ich ja richtig gut, hier habe ich ein Video zum neuen Album gefunden, weiß aber noch nicht so richtig, was ich davon halten soll:

Das Album gab's die Tage bei Ama auf Vinyl für 16€. Ist durchweg recht kühl, mit vielen elektronischen Elementen.

Ich bin mal gespannt, wie das als Album funktioniert. Nach mehrmaligem Hören gefällt der Song doch ganz gut.
Aber schön, dass er noch aktiv ist, ich war mir da nicht so ganz sicher.

Ich höre tatsächlich gerade das Album zum ersten Mal "richtig". Mir gefällt es. Der Snare-Sound ist bombig.
