Jawoll! Eine der besten "Post"/Neurosis Metal Bands (live und auf Platte) gibt sich endlich wieder die Ehre:
A Storm of Light are back with a new album to be released in time for live dates with
MONO (Japan) this October.
Five years after their last studio album (Nation To Flames, Southern Lord), Josh Graham and his companions Chris Common, Dan Hawkins and Domenic Seita have been working on their fifth full length Anthroscene which shall be released via
Consouling Sounds(EU and UK) and
Translation Loss Records (US) this Autumn.

Das wird toll. Mono sind für mich eine der wenigen noch relevanten und live famosesten Post Rock-Bands, ASOL live immer (bestimmt sieben, acht Male gesehen; manchmal tatsächlich sogar vor nur 20 Leuten) live großartig. Wiesbaden wird es sein. Bin auf das neue Album sehr gespannt. Und wer dann die Besetzung auffüllt. Bin Fan, seit ich sie damals mit der ehemaligen Schwesterband Neurosis (Josh Graham - auch Blood & Time mit Scott Kelly und Noah Landis, Battle Of Mice (!) mit Ex-Frau Juli Christmas, Red Sparowes - war damals noch bei Neurosis, Jason Roeder spielte zweitweise Schalgzeug und auch sonst sind live und über die Discography verteilt recht namhafte Kollegen am Start, u.a. von Tombs, Indians, Unsane, Swans, Nachtmystium, Wolves In The Throne Room, etc.) zum ersten Mal gesehen habe.
