Ja, ließ nun fast ein Jahr auf sich warten. Neuer Song ist genau wie das Debüt super. Hat noch etwas mehr "Ghost the metal way" Touch.

Eine mir bis dato völlig unbekannte US amerikanische Band bringt hier ein Album raus, dass eigentlich allen gefallen müsste, die sich eine metallische Version von Rainbow mit Prog-Rock Einflüssen vorstellen können. Das ist musikalisch ganz stark umgesetzt und der Sound gefällt mir gerade deshalb, dass er einem nicht wie ein Bulldozer überrollt. Gibt es scheinbar (noch?) nicht physisch, dafür bietet die Band das Album auf ihrer Website als kostenlosen Download an.

Der Gesang, abseits von Standard, viel Gefühl in der Stimme. Echt großartig... Wenn die Band neu gegründet ist prophezeie ich mal das man von denen in naher Zukunft sehr viel mehr hören wird.

Ich zitier mich mal selbst in Bezug auf das DIAMONDS HADDER Album; hab die Jungs mal angeschrieben. Diese Antwort hatte ich heute im Mail-Eingang:

I've been designing the layout in my spare time and hope to have records by the end of the year (pressing these days takes months I'm told). Perfekte Ersatzdroge für Skull Fist und ein bisschen Enforcer.

Ich weiss nicht, ob Owlbear hier schon genannt wurden.
Ich bin beim Cover neugierig geworden, da ich gelegentlich auch Fantasy Rollenspieler bin. Die Band aus Boston, Massachusetts spielt meistenes schnellen Metal mit Wohlfühlmelodien.
Der Bass pumpt, die Gitarre rifft amtlich und soliert stark.
Der Gesang hat mich direkt gepackt. Auch wenn es nicht wirklich passt, denke ich bei den Melodien an eine Mischung aus Dream Troll und Mega Colossus.

Die Platte / CD kommt über das griechische Label ALONE RECORDS raus.
Ich war wieder zu ungeduldig und re-importiere die Platte über Bandcamp (hoffentlich ist der Würfel auch tatsächlich dabei)

Das ist Tralala-Metal, wie er in den letzten Jahren leider immer mehr dargeboten wird. Stichwort: Stangenware, die sich nur noch durch die oftmals geilen Artworks unterscheidet. Aber es ist halt auch gut gemacht. Geht sofort ins Ohr, hat'nen schönen Flow, fühlt sich einfach cool an. Fifty fifty Sache, die mich aufgrund ihrer nerdigen Thematik dann doch triggert. Danke für den Tipp.

Hier, und ich denke, das kann man tatsächlich so sagen, haben wir es mit einem der, wenn nicht sogar DEM besten Newcomer seit vielen, vielen Jahren zu tun. Denn hier stimmt einfach alles: Musik, Melodien, Skills, Artwork, Atmosphäre, Einstellung (hab mit dem guten Mann ein paar Mails ausgetauscht und den Stoff an ein griech. Label weitergeleitet). Early Rainbow, Black Sabbath mit Tony Martin, Jorn Lande, Ronnie James Dio - mir fallen als Vergleiche wirklich nur Superlative ein. Ich hab mir die Scheibe in den letzten Tagen sicherlich ein Dutzend Mal angehört, und bin mir schon ziemlich sicher, dass ich es hier mit (m)einem zukünftigen All Time Fave zu tun habe. Lange her, dass mich ein out of nowhere Newcomer dermaßen geflasht, komplett auf links gedreht und genüsslich angesquirtet hat, Wahnsinn!!
