Die Darbietung der Songs war auf musikalischer Ebene durchweg gelungen, allerdings stört es das Bild gewaltig, wenn der Herr, äh, Meister Cagliostro mit Bierdose inner Hand auf der Bühne steht. Da sind alle Kerzen, Knochen und sonstige Atmosphäre erschaffenden Elemente vergebens.

Bin mir gerade nicht sicher, ob das sarkastisch gemeint ist und grundsätzlich muß der meinetwegen überhaupt kein Getränk in der Hand halten, aber rein objektiv betrachtet wäre das der Atmosphäre dienlicher, ja. ^^

Nö, das war nicht sarkastisch gemeint. Hatte nur das ganze Satansbrimborium vor dem inneren Auge und musste dann wie Matty an Meister Gaahls rotweinschwenkende Erkenntnis denken, dass eben "Satan" das ist, worum sich alles dreht. Eine Erkenntnis zu der man mit Bier offenbar nicht kommt.

Wird es von der Band eigentlich irgendwann noch mal einen neuen Tonträger geben? Das Debut ist mitlerweile schon 5 Jahre her ...

Eines der Alben, wenn nicht sogar DAS Album dem ich dieses Jahr am meisten entgegenfiebere. Dauert zwar schon lang, aber wenn`s für die Wartezeit entschädigt...

Selten habe ich in letzter Zeit einem Album dermaßen entgegengefiebert ........

Wird auf jeden Fall Zeit für die neue Platte. Ich guck schon fast täglich bei Van nach Infos zur Veröffentlichung.

Den neuen Song den ich letztes Jahr beim RHF Warmup gehört habe hat mich musikalisch an alte Dissection erinnert.

After more than four years in the making, the follow-up to “The Invocation” is finally on its way.
And it's a big one.
Our new studio album will contain 13 tracks and over an hour playing time.

“Sanctimonious” is going to be a complete concept album, that takes place in an old convent, where nothing is what it seems.
Prepare for utter horror and darkest heavy metal once again!

Today we unveil the albums entire Tracklist and the cover artwork, which was created once more by the mighty Markus Vesper.

Next Tuesday (30.05) we will premiere a very first track, alongside the opportunity to already preorder the album and limited special Editions.

Ich hab grad gesehen, dass ich die 2012 nicht mal in meiner TOP 10 hatte. Hör die Scheibe grad und bei mir hat sich die Gott sei Dank nicht abgenutzt. @Sandman, kann ich 2012 nicht doch nochmal neu abstimmen???????
